Eric Olson

Eric Olson was one of the first Players Committee advocates: Warren Holland's 25 January 2002 announcement named him Gameplay Support Advocate, with Doug Taylor.[1] He was later Design Advocate (2002–2004).[2] In the Decipher era he was Squadron Member Bravo 7, from Lisle, Illinois.[3] He finished 8th at the 1998 Corellia Regional (Indianapolis) (Orland Park, Illinois, in that report).[4]

Radio Free Decipher (2002)
On Radio Free Decipher Broadcast 112 (25 January 2002), host Kyle Heuer said Olson had been Joe Alread's right-hand man designing the later Episode I Star Wars CCG sets.[7] Olson would work on design for the Players Committee with Doug Taylor. Heuer called him "a gamer's designer" who wanted to give hardcore players what they wanted, in contrast to Taylor's focus on storyline and fun.[7]
