Decklist
Strategy
When I first made this deck I had few powerful cards, and the people I was playing against had all the heavy hitters. First I realized that I had to build a deck that would prevent or restrict my opponent’s ability to deploy. Secondly the deck also had to be able to take those same characters out of the equation indirectly. Thirdly I would have to build a deck that would have enough flexibility to adjust to whatever deck I faced. Finally I had to find a way to increase my force drains at the few locations I would occupy.
To restrict my opponent’s ability to deploy I selected sites that had force icons on only the dark side. I would deploy Hoth: North Ridge 5th marker first, and hold the Hoth: Defensive Perimeter and Hoth: Echo Docking Bay only if I found I needed to deploy them. Using You May Start Your Landing I would retrieve Hoth: Defensive Perimeter 3rd Marker and Walker Garrison before activating. If I had two other markers out and I had enough walkers I would deploy the 3rd Marker and use Walker Garrison. I would use the docking bay to lure my opponent out of space or to move via a transit to another site.
To take characters out indirectly I would use Stunning Leader and He Hasn’t Come Back Yet. Imperial Barrier is useful for preventing an assault and beefing up your defenses. Another card I have considered is sniper. There are many other cards that would work in this deck for the same purpose so feel free to use what you have.
The only cards that have to be in this deck are Three marker sites, Prepared Defenses, You May Start Your Landing, Walker Garrison, and five or more walkers. After that you can have pretty much whatever you want in this deck.
To increase force drains I have four Walker Garrisons and You May Start Your Landing. You May Start Your Landing gives me a force drain at locations that have no icon for the light side.
