Strategy

By Erik Peterson[1]

Until recently, this has been another frequently overlooked card in Dark Side deck construction. But with the continued success with ground-pounding dark decks, and Imperial Decree, this card should be a serious candidate in most decks.

Most weapons require destiny draws of destiny > ability, and only lightsabers realistically have a chance of killing off an Obi Wan or a Luke. Further, in order to whack spies you need the card combo of a weapon, character and either Blasted Droid or Sniper. Finally, even with one of my favorites, Trample, it is hard to squash pesky annoyances like Leia, Momaw and Luke. What is the answer, you ask?

Well, first look at your deck. Do you have such DS favorites as the Hoth: Defensive Perimiter, the Tatooine: Junland Wastes, Hoth: Wampa Cave, and/or Yavin IV: Jungle in your deck? If so, then take another look at that whitewashed card, He Hasn't Come Back Yet. Although this is a lost interrupt, it requires only that one of your opponent's characters be alone at ANY one of your exterior sites.

There are two main advantages to this card. First, that it hits if destiny +3 (that is right destiny +3) is greater than ability. That means a measly draw of a 4 will make Obi wander back off into the Junland Wastes. Second, that character is "missing" which means that personna cannot be deployed until he/she is found.

This works great against spies and "lone" destiny adders. Further, this adds to the arsenal of character removal, reducing your succeptability to Grimtaash. Don't discount the nice 4 destiny. As far as card economy goes, He Hasn't Come Back should "find" its way into your deck!

Card Combos:

Clear the way for your Walker Garrison!
People DO get lost in the desert, you know!
