Strategy

Ok, I've never player with speeder bikes before and ROps seemed to be one of the best platforms with which to use them. Here's how my version works.

You will want to grab Carida with your first action. Activation will be low for your first turn so you may want to start Decree (V) if the LS player is starting with an activation advantage. Use your Objective and your IAO to get out two sites. Most cases you'll just draw up. Next turn, get your final site and ditch YCHF for Sec. Precautions (V) if you plan to deploy to Raltiir this turn.

To get out my speeder bikes, I typically use the objective to get out the BST, and then download bikes in later turns. Worst case you can do this on your third turn. Palpy should be relatively easy to get out, he should go to the Prefect's office (which should be in the middle of your site line). I also run a Stormie Garrison to have another non unique Imperial I can get with the objective. I have lots of Imp leaders in here, so his GT will help in a pinch. From here, fortify with a speeder bike/pilot at each <> location, allowing you to flip. I don't run every Biker Scout since a lot of them are ability 1. I try to run as many ability 2 Biker Scouts as I have so as to let two of them get battle destiny.

From here you get to go offensive. Use your flip side to pull helpful cards from Reserve. If you are facing a drain race, pull Overseeing it Personally to make your drains on Raltiir +1. You have a decent space package that will be able to hold Carida to avoid the drain tax. If your opponent is hiding, pull Mara and launch an attack. If they are out in the open, make sure you have Imp Dom (V) out so you can keep throwing characters at them and not run out.

More on that weird space package… It is TIE heavy, but both my captitals can hold them. I was going for the best Imperial ships, and this is what I came up with. Better choices, but illegal when playing ID (V), would be some ZiMHs and BiHTs. On the plus side my Tie Guns can be fired from 3 different ships.

As you can see, I'm playing with the Speeder theme more than I should. I don't think cards like Aratech Corp and the like are my best choices, but they fit the theme so they made the cut. Enjoy!
