Imperial Command is a Dark Interrupt (Used Interrupt) from Death Star II.
Card Text
Take one admiral or general into hand from Reserve Deck; reshuffle. OR If your admiral is in battle at a system (or your general is in battle at a site), you may either add one battle destiny or prevent opponent from drawing more than one battle destiny.
Lore
The Emperor's high command is subjected to close scrutiny by the Imperial bureaucracy. Despite this apparent lack of trust, many turn out to be fine commanders.
Joke
The lore notes, deadpan, that despite the Empire's distrust of its own officers "many" turn out to be fine commanders; the Empire even kept a security service to watch its own people.[1] The card that pictures one of those commanders being choked is Apology Accepted, and both are part of the running gag of cards where Vader chokes his own officers. See Jokes.
