Strategy
I guess the best way to get a feel for this deck is to take a look back at the original Little Shop Of Horrors strat section. Other than the creatures, it plays like a regular RalOps Speeders/Necklace deck. Drop the sites, drop the creatures, keep your walkers and speeders patrolling the Desert, Swamp, and Jungle while everybody else (ie Palpy) sits at the Docking Bay, and drain away. If they come to you on the ground, 'react' around with your speeders which should ideally be holding:
Misik piloting, Barich back-seating
Avarik piloting, Elsek back-seating
Irol piloting, Drelosyn back-seating
Biker Scout Trooper piloting, possibly Maul back-seating
That gives you the best pairs, with the best pilots up front. Also, if they decide to pay a visit to Ralltiir, odds are any battle survivors are gonna get chomped (with the high destiny average this deck is getting and the large number of nasty buggers all over the planet, you've got an auto-chomp on almost anything). If they come at you in space, they've got a nasty surprise waiting... 4 destiny draws, reduction of all their destinies by 3, and possibly a capper on the number of destinies they're drawing if Chewie or a smuggler is there. Oh, and power up the wazoo.
There's a few trick cards in here to keep your opponent on their toes. Quick explanation on some:
Dianoga - anti-MWYHL. If they're setting up pretty fast, you may have to end up using Dragonsnake instead to prevent Test 1 from passing. Chomp-chomp!
Barquin D'an - got some good destinies in the deck, so why not use them to help you get a bit of retrieval? Place your bets!
Trinto Duaba - Just so you don't have to go running to the cardlists to figure out what this does, here you go:
non-unique, destiny 5, used. "If there are cards in the opponent's Used Pile during your battle phase, draw one destiny. All cards there with the same destiny number are lost." So, a destiny 5 recyclable that can cause some damage. If you have both copies in hand and you just finished battling, play 'em. With this deck, odds are you'll draw a 5, 4, and/or a 3... so that 5 they just drew for battle destiny? Buh-bye! That Chewie, Enraged they put back with 2-1B? Buh-bye! That Rebel Leadership they played? Buh-bye! Get the picture?
All in all, it's got strong ground, strong space, good direct damage, adequate retrieval, awesome drains, limits their drains, adds to your battle destiny totals, pulls cards from your deck, and eats. A lot.
Enjoy!
