Strategy +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Disclaimer: I do not claim that this deck will necessarily work so don’t kill me on the ratings please ;) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Make Datcha your Rep.
1st Turn Pull Audience Chamber and pull Mighty Jabba and deploy him if you can. Draw any extra or deploy Greedo from reserve deck.
2nd Turn Pull Jawas with Ornaments if you have them and/or pull effects with Advisors. Pull Villainy 1st then decide on Den of Thieves, Sand Whirls or Occupation depending on hand and what the opponent has. Deploy jawas to flip the objective.
Keep pulling Jawas, save the Datchas for canceling battle destinies once you flip the objective. Make sure to get Wittin down at the Audience Chamber fairly fast so that all Jawas are at least power 3. Of course at Jawa canyon they’re power 5. power 5 Jawas, lol. Anyways, drain all you want while canceling opponent’s drains with Den of Thieves or if necessary Datcha down on the Objective. If you think its possible to hold Tatooine, deploy Tat Occupation to add to your damage per turn. Spread out somewhat, keeping most EPPs in reserve to hit them if they try to out drain you and eventually your opponent will try to hit you where the Jawas are in the outdoors. Ghhhk the battle or just take the damage, then you can set up Sand Whirl or whatever is best for the situation. Set up at sites with the mercenary pilot and Wittin’s crawler and out drain them. Hurt their retrieval from the start with Secret Plans, and retrieval is pretty good in this deck for dark.
Card Selections:
Abyssin Ornament- y the two different versions you ask: I want some retrieval in there besides Villainy.
Jabba’s twerps- I’ve got something like 7 alien leaders in the deck so I can use the interrupt to retrieve or more likely just pull three jawas.
Vader w/ saber- I need one character that I can hit with if needed- even if it does disrupt Villainy, I don’t plan for him to be around very long
Restraining Bolt- Combat any light side droids that try to mess with Jabba’s palace- yeah Cam, I don’t think the droid thing will work against this deck (unfortunately I couldn’t find room for a caller). Anyways I thought a restraining bolt has got to be in a Jawa deck- decent destiny too.
Exhaustions + Sand Whirls- Annoying side strategy that gives Jawas a little more versatility: Make enemy characters missing, make them lose force for it. I think Everything else is pretty self explanatory.
Matchups: I don’t really feel like doing this right now ( I had an AP today) so don’t get mad at me if I miss one…
RTP: This deck will already be whooping RTP the first few turns. Coupled with the retrieval, RTP should never be able to get off the ground.
TRM: Ahh, I don’t know about this. Probably a hard match up if the opponent plays it right. My best hope is to cancel their drains and destinies and drop EPPs on them while retrieving with Villainy.
LU [v]: Only solution is to hit at Hoth early with some EPPs. Or perhaps you could cancel their drains and just out drain them.
EBO: Cancel their space drains and out drain them, probably not a good idea to try to set up occupation. Just stay on the ground and out drain them. Pretty boring game if I had to say.
HB: tough call considering both sides can cancel a lot of drains. Best bet is to spread as thin as possible and try to beat a little with ZiMH and Iggy in 2000 if possible.
QMC: Cancel their drains and hit them with EPPs. Basically just sit back and drain and force them to come to you. It shouldn’t be hard because most of their drains will be cancelled. Set up Occupation and they’ll be in trouble quickly.
Agents at the Court ( or what ever it is): use the bolt on the droid and start draining. Shoot Leia, Lando whatever.
