Introduction[edit]
This is a simple deck designed to break down the opponent in several ways. There are several possibilities for force retrieval, plenty of cards to provide power, etc.
It revolves around the idea of capturing, freezing, and force draining your opponent like there's no tomorrow. Check out
The published list has 61 cards.

Strategy[edit]
A lot goes down in Cloud City. This deck proves that. The heavy hitter cards in this deck are Dark Deal, The Emperor's Prize, and Carbon Freezing.
A.) Dark Deal. Dark Deal, if successfully deployed, provides the dark side player with tremendous bonuses on Cloud City. Power +4 in battles and force drain +2 at Cloud City Sites is a force to be reckoned with (no pun intended). Notice if you will the ease of the light side player to CANCEL Dark Deal. Cancelled if opponent occupies 4 Bespin locations. Now, Bespin locations includes Bespin (system), Bespin: Cloud City, any cloud sectors in Bespin, all cloud city sites. Anyone with difficulty OCCUPYING 4 locations probably has a deck consisting of 4 or less cards. How to counter this? One non-unique alien from Jabba's Palace arrives to save the day. Aqualish will soon become your best friend if you choose to use this deck. He is a little pricy for a power 2 forfeit 2 alien (3 to deploy), but he cumulatively adds one to number of Bespin locations required to cancel the deal. Have three of your four Aqualishes on Cloud City? Opponent needs to occupy ALL OF THE BESPIN LOCATIONS. Yes. There are 7 Bespin locations in the deck, and their chances of occupying all of them before you 'handle' their characters is slim. All while you're draining them at +2 at all Cloud City sites. (how else will the opponent lose 28 force in one turn?).
Now the best way to set up the deal is to hold on the cards necessary to successfully deploy it. These cards are: Dark Deal (Duh.), at least one Aqualish, three cloud city sites, Bespin: Cloud City, a piloted vehicle or starfighter, and at least two other characters. Yes, this is a hefty hand. However, holding onto these cards will let you nail the opponent immedietely by deploying the sites, deploying characters to them (thus, CONTROLLING them and allowing Dark Deal to be deployed), deploying the Cloud City sector and a fighter to control it. You now control Cloud City, and three related sites. Dark Deal can now be deployed.
B.) The Emperor's Prize. Half of his life force. This could be 25 force, this could be 10 force, this could be 3 force. However many force 'half' comes out to, it still sounds evil. For my deck, the following cards are essential to getting this strategy completed: Lord Vader (or Maul) and their lightsaber, Carbonite Chamber, All Too Easy, We're the Bait*, Cloud City: East Platform, Death Star: Docking Bay, Death Star: Detention Block Corridor (these two sites can be replaced by Emperor Palpatine in the deck, because The Emperor's Prize targets either the Detention Block Corridor or the Palpatine character).
- We're the Bait. This is a good way to lure Luke to the Carbonite Chamber. Being a decent capture deck, capturing Leia, Han, or Chewie shouldn't be painfully difficult. Excellent capture cards in this deck: All Wrapped Up, Feltipern Trevagg's Stun Rifle, Bossk With Mortar Gun, Hidden Weapons, We Have A Prisoner.
After capturing one of those three characters, We're the Bait forces the opponent to lose force until Luke arrives at a certain location (preferably the Carbonite Chamber). Why the Carbonite Chamber? Just to make All Too Easy all too easy. To refresh your memory, All Too Easy is an immediate effect that your deploy on a character just 'hit' by a lightsaber in the chamber: target is immedietely captured and frozen. "Perhaps you were not as strong as the Emperor thought, fool! Now shut yo' mouth!". Slam him with The Emperor's Prize (if possible), truck Luke over the Emperor (or the Detention Block Corridor). Watch opponent's horror as he counts his life force and divides it by two. Oh yeah. And don't forget to round down.
C.) Carbon Freezing. As with any freeze deck, the essential cards are included in this one. The chamber, the console, Prepare the Chamber, the Ugnaughts, and... Carbon Freezing. As I mentioned in strategy B, this deck is an efficient capture deck, as All Wrapped Up makes it easy for any bounty hunter to scoop up a forfeited fool. Bring the captive over to the Interrogation Room for a few turns, show the pathetic fool no mercy, don't ask him any questions, then bring him to the chamber and 'process' him. If you know what I mean.
Bottom Line: Get Dark Deal out. Force drain the opponent for tons. Try to pull The Emperor's Prize by capturing Han, Leia, or Chewie. Freeze any of opponent's captured characters. Get Maul or Vader on table to control key locations such as Carbonite Chamber, Interrogation Room, or Security Tower.
-Enjoy putting your opponent to shame.
