Introduction
Hunt down with the v-card blaster rack. The best deck around right now in my opinion.

Ok, here we go (this will probably be pretty long but please stay with me)
This is the deck that i feel is best equiped to fight in the current meta. The blaster rack is a great addition to the deck because now i can not only pull vaders saber to put on vader when i drop him (making lord vader a beast, hence 3 of him and only 2 of DLOTS)
but now its not a problem for me to use Darth Maul or Darth Maul Young Apprentice because i wont have to fish around for his saber, instead of using Maul w/ Lightsaber. The biggest bonus out of the different mauls is the immunity to attrition that the mauls pack that maul w/ lightsaber does not.
On the ground, the deck will pretty much walk all over any deck that is not Light Side Combat (addressed later). Basically a first or second turn vader w/ saber to the cantina for wys or the guest quarters for qmc or the major site for any other deck is a lot to handle so early.
The deck can also beat on people quite handily. If they clear off your first vader, you might consider comboing the second with r3 fett, we must accelerate for blast door controls, maybe hold a ghhk/those rebels won't escape us if you suspect dodge, and you can clear out even the best fortified ls sites or end the game against an unsuspecting player with a lone character like a melas in the cantina against wys who was holding barrier or dodge. First strike can be used to stop the houjix if they haven't saved force for it.
The deck can also hold its own in space. Don't try to go out and take 2 systems, but against a Light side combat player, all the space they usually pack is han chewie and the falcon x2 and maybe 1 or 2 r2 in red 5. Thrawn + Chimera + imp command or Zuckess in mist hunter with 4-lom w/ concussion aboard can withstand that space package. Wys space usually goes down hill fast after you kill dash and the above combos although in this case, imp command is not crucial, its just an added bonus, will do the trick.
On to the card selections
Ghhk/Those rebels wont escape us x2-This is really just an anti-LSC choice. LSC decks usually use dodge or barrier to protect their jedi. Your goal is to actually get into a battle where they dont dodge/barrier/houjix out of trouble. Blast door controls will take care of barrier, ghhk/those rebels takes care of dodge their primary use for evasion and most LSC decks only pack 1 houjix and first strike will help if they didnt save force for it.
2 zuckess/chimera/thrawn/imp command-These cards are crucial. Against LSC, you will probably need the extra damage from the drains at carida, and against wys or qmc, you need to contend in space especially against wys because if you kill dash and maybe wedge who do they have left? mirax in ship, theron nett in ship, most wys decks stopped packing the falcon but if han and chewie do come down, imp command/zuckess's ability will hinder them plus if they are forced to commit han/chewie to space, it means that you have and auto-win on the ground because luke/random smugglers cannot stand up to vader/maul/palpy/r3 fett in any combination.
we must accelerate our plans x4-Well before the v-card came out, i used to start crush, but i would start no escape against LSC or if i suspected honor in other decks, but now with the v-card, my 3 starting effects are set so i need the fourth to get no escape out fast if they pull out honor first turn. Also you should never have more than 1 in your hand at a time because you can throw them back for free so grimtaash shouldnt be a problem. Destiny 5s.
Ok thats it for the card selection on to the matchups:
Watch Your Step- I've played against many variants of wys, from harvest, to han/luke/chewie beats to space all different types. Basically you play the same against all of them. Get Vader w/ his saber to the cantina first turn or as soon as possible and back him up in the next few turns. Make the cantina your fortress. Next get maul + double bladed drain stick with some more backup to db-94 or whatever other site you feel like. Use your space to beat on smugglers when they are forced to send 1 ship to a system because of all your ground damage. Visage will eat away at them so will drain of 3 in the cantina and 3-4 wherever maul w/ sitck is. Not very difficult.
Quiet Mining Colony-Ok, quiet mining colony is not meant to fight. They will pull out 4-5 cloud city sites and path all over and try to get in a few drains/cc celebration retrievals. There are 2 keys to playing QMC. #1 most important and easiest to do- GRAB PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE dont go for dodge or out of commission or whatever else. I have not seen very many or any at all of these decks that path is not their most important interrupt. #2 Hit bespin with all you have as early as possible. Dont let them get their defenses up with an x-wing cannon/intruder missle and force saved. When they go to bespin early with dash or whoever else, drop one of your space combos on them. You may not win bespin in the end, but if you stall them from getting control and hence stalling cc celebration you should be ok. QMC cannot hang with you on the ground, fortify 2 sites with saber drains early before they get menace fades and get out blast door controls early and you will be ok. They give up a ton of force so you will get off to an accelerated start. This is another definitely winnable game.
Light Side Combat-This has been the bane of hunt down ever since it came out. You have 2 choices on how to play this one depending on what they do. If they get yoda at 1 site and qui at the other get together all your stuff to stop their anti battle and drop on either qui or yoda. Cancel their anti battle and proceed with the beatings. Unfortunately, there will always be games where you cant find your anti-battle. In this case set up in space and drop on them anyway. If they dodge away, its still ok because you are draining and they are not. Remember to either get 2 dark jedis down or to hold 1 in your hand incase the other gets combated off. They still have to move over to combat you and when they do, smack them around. This is a very tough game for huntdown and the only deck that it doesnt walk all over on the ground, but if you play well, and have a little luck on your side you can contend.
Well, i think thats it (finally). if you want me to add more matchups, put it in your reviews and i will happily oblidge, i just put in the most popular ls strategies out there.
Thanks for reading and reviewing
Matt
