Talk:Decipher staff
Left off the list
The list takes only people whose own preserved sources give a Decipher staff title, "of Decipher", "Decipher's" or "Decipher Inc.". These pages were checked and left off:
- Jonathan Quesenberry: the Squadron table places Red Leader at Decipher Inc., and he hosted Radio Free Decipher broadcast 10 (March 1999). No preserved Decipher source gives him a staff title. The Jedi Knights rulebook lists him under Special Thanks.
- Jason Winter: his staff dates (February 1996 – January 1998) come from a 2025 YouTube interview with no preserved copy, and the fan anagram page calls him a "Decipherian". The Jedi Knights rulebook lists him as a playtester.
- Mike Gray and Becky Higgerson: only the fan anagram page ("Decipherian"). Higgerson is also on the Jedi Knights team list.
- Cindy Thornburg: Wikipedia names her among Decipher's key people; the Jedi Knights team list names her with no role. No preserved Decipher source gives a title.
- Calvin Sanders: Decipher's 1997 Special Events page says he and Dale Maurice programmed the Star Wars CCG Palace; it does not say he was on staff.
- Trevor Hinkley: billed as a "Decipher intern" on Radio Free Decipher broadcast 123 (April 2002); an internship, not staff.
- Tom Braunlich and Rollie Tesh: designed SWCCG through Technical Game Services, their own company.
- Kathy Lischke: covered DecipherCon 1999 on Decipher's event board and playtested Jedi Knights.
- Jedi Knights team credit only, with no role: Rich Loftus, Anthony Vittone, Rick Eddleman, Walt Eley, Ryan Honeyman, Jennifer Gilbert, Matt Holland, Kurt Luchtman, Lisa Brinn, Faye Holt, Liz Duffey, Roland Williams, Dominiek Vermandere.
- Volunteers and writers, not employees on their sources: Kim Burns (volunteer) and Richard Handley (Star Wars Insider writer).
- John Kaufeld and Jean-Luc Simard (DecipherCon 2000 contributing writers), Jim Colson and Arthur Wright (Squadron Members), and Brianna Emery (attendee).
- No page yet: Jeff Snyder (The Lord of the Rings TCG developer with Michael Girard, 2003), Kathy McCracken (DecipherCon 2002 Daily News writer), Chris McKenna (Star Trek CCG Ambassador).
Sources for two entries
- Jerry Darcy came to Decipher in April 1995 through Technical Game Services. On Radio Free Decipher broadcast 12 (April 1999), Carol Wisely said he had been with Decipher about four years as lead designer for Star Wars. See Radio Free Decipher/Episode 12 transcript.
- Francis Lalumiere: a 1999 Decipher caption calls him a "New addition to the Decipher team", and the Jedi Knights Design Diary gives his Decipher title, The Juggler.

Listed but not yet tagged
These people are on the list, but their pages do not yet carry Category:Decipher employees. Each page still has links without archived copies, so it fails the page check; tag it once those are archived.

- Update 2026-10-25: all six pages now have archived copies for their links, pass the page check, and carry the tag. Chuck Kallenbach lost its death-notice sentence, because its Facebook source could not be archived; see Talk:Chuck Kallenbach. No one listed is left untagged.

Net Reps (2026-10-25)
Decipher Net Reps count as Decipher staff, so their pages get Category:Decipher employees. That is Bill's call (2026-10-25). Mark Tuttle stays tagged on that basis. A scan of every page in Category:People found only one other person whose page calls them a Decipher net or internet representative: Sandy Wible. Her row now lists that role, with the preserved Flashback interview as its source. No other Net Rep has a person page with such a source yet. Comlink Cursor (talk) 03:37, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
