DecipherCon 1999
DecipherCon 1999 (DecipherCon '99) was Decipher's first company convention, held 11–14 November 1999 at the Cavalier Hotel, Virginia Beach, Virginia. It hosted the Star Wars CCG World Championship, in which Gary Carman defeated Steven Lewis 2 (+19).[1][2]

- Site: Cavalier Hotel / Cavalier Hotel at the Oceanfront, Virginia Beach, Virginia
Worlds Day 1 was Friday 12 November. Day 2 and the Final Confrontation were Saturday 13 November. Thursday 11 November held the Wild Card: 146 Star Wars players, with the top two (John Arendt and James Lafferty) taking seats into Friday's field of 32.[3][4]
Guests[edit]
Special guests were Chase Masterson (Leeta), Shannon Baksa (Mara Jade), Aron Eisenberg (Nog), and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett). Baksa signed Friday 1–3pm and Saturday/Sunday 12–2pm and appeared as Mara Jade in costume.[5][6]
Star Wars CCG World Championship[edit]
Full results and lists are on 1999 Decipher World Championship. The constructed pool was Premiere - Endor. The field of 32 was 4 Open + 2 Invitational + 23 Regional + 2 Wild Card + 1 defending champion (Matt Potter).[4]
Joe Alread won Iron Man on Friday and missed the main event for the first time.[7]
Lalumiere's Saturday wrap also recorded an ECC sealed of 176 players — "biggest tournament in Star Wars CCG history" on that report, beating Origins constructed 152 — plus Young Jedi champion Greg Heisler and Star Trek champion Mike Harrington.[6]
