DecipherCon reports
Handley covered the 1999 Decipher World Championship at DecipherCon 1999 in "All Decked Out" for Star Wars Insider 48. Its subtitle is "The Competition is Fierce at Decipher's 4th Annual Star Wars CCG World Championships". It opens: "Determined card players congregate at a fancy hotel, competing for high stakes and notoriety." The report covers Gary Carman's win over Steven Lewis in the final, lists the top 12 finalists and covers Greg Heisler's win in the first Young Jedi World Championship. Handley also took the article's photographs.[2]
He covered DecipherCon 2000 in "Deal With It!", subtitled "It's a CCG TKO When Star Wars Fans Compete at DecipherCon 2000", in Star Wars Insider 52.[3]
