Introduction
This deck aims to use CPI like it was meant to- by blowing away planets left and right. Destroy an opponent's main planet and you've most likely crushed their hopes of victory.

First of all, big thanks to Stephen Chast, aka Hunter Rose, for the help in designing this deck. It is largely an update/stylization on his "Hunter's Technological Terror" deck posted right here on GPN! Your goal is the complete and total elimination of your opponent's battlegrounds. From there, it is quite difficult for them to win, if not nigh-impossible.
First, get your D* moving. To do this, you need your Superlaser. You can do this in a few ways... standardly with D* Gunner, with Emergency Deployment, or even with Sense & Uncertain is the Future. Start moving towards your opponent's main base and get ready to blow it away!
Some objectives do not start their main planet. That's why I included 4 major ones not started by your opponent. You can use Dark Time (V) to get them, as well as your caves. While on the subject of locations, you can get out the Holotable and Bridge with interrupts, and your Death Star sites can be saved from the lost pile with Put All Sections.
The best way to get stuff is to draw it up. You can easily recycle with Drop!, at the same time setting up destiny for whatever you want. Plus, with Crush, you can find out what is in your Force pile so you can know when to draw and when not to.
Tarkin (V) is the king of the D*. Get him out ASAP and your gunners are safe. At the confrence room he will add to your CPI total. The Empire's Back (V) will help you get him.
The key to victory is Come Here You Big Coward. If you can remove all battleground, all opponent's force drains/retrieval are cancelled, while you are able to drain out at the holotable and with Mara's stick. If your opponent decides to be cute with Honor, remove all the BGs and then use your Alter to let the hurt continue. The only draw back is that it is not Immune to Alter, so pack Opp Enf shield if you are worried about it being canceled. This is used (use the shield as backup) since it works without you needing to be at a BG.
All the while you can slow some drains down, using cards like Enter the Bureacrat, Strategic Reserves, Image (V), Counter Assault and U 3P0.
Card Choices:
Crush is started for a mini EPP beatdown. If your opponent suspects that he is facing just D* Gunners, he may get a little cocky and open himself up for an assault from Vader, Maul or Mara. It pulls I Have You Now, and the Monnok combo (which has abuse potential if not grabbed). Dark Stike combo (Sniper with the Superlaser!) Colo Claw Fish also work well if your opponent is spreading thin.
With 2 CPIs, and AMVCO, you get 4 shots with the laser. Use No Escape to retrieve that (or another vital card), and you have 5... perfect for Hidden Base.
Phantom Menace is good with EPP Maul at certain times, but also goes to Used if canceled. Its normal role is to drain at the holotable.
Thanks again to Stephen, and to those reading!
UPDATE- Subbed in Alter for Counter Assault- thanks to Rickynumber24.
EDIT-
Thanks for the review, Ricky! On to your questions.
First, I get out the D* sites basically through watching my Reserve and drawing them up. I have some time to get them, since I am flying towards my opponent's planet. I really only need one initially to get Tarkin/Gunners set up. And if I lose them, that's almost better. I can get them into hand with PASOA.
The Honor issue is a good one... I admit that did not occur to me in design. I think subbing in an Alter for Counter Assault is the way to go. I was planning on going with Abilityx3, but that won't work on space decks (since the ships don't get blown up) or if ground decks have a non battleground I didn't blow up yet (like the JCC).
RTP means I just use my EPPs defensively. Crush helps me defend the D* immensely, as well as used PASOA. I can battle them, or just Sniper R2/Leia and slow them down.
Finally, with Visage I won't use it. It hurts me as much as my opponent, and I don't have much room to play with deck space wise. Plus, it has no real versatility outside the holotable that I like (which IMO Dark Lord and TPM have).
Thanks for pointing out the Honor issue!
Cam, thanks for the review! I'm actually hoping that I can survive against space by blowing away 5 of their planets. This was more of a fun exercise than ultra serious deck, so I have yet to run it against a heavy space deck. Yeah, MBO stinks. It's not too big in my area- if I was doing this for a tourney, I'd throw in the D* Assault Squad.
Catman, thanks for the review! SYCFA is not used since it limits my planets to Hoth, Y4, and the Subjugated planet. Not good enough for me! Plus it gives the opponent a way onto the D*.
