Introduction
This deck aims to win through enhanced drains and power in space coupled with drain denial and blocking on the ground.
Decklist
Strategy
This is my first attempt at ISB, so I decided to try arguably the best form of it- ISB Space. I did not realize how many different version of this deck existed, and I look forward to more experimentation with it in the future.
To start you will likely grab either the Executor ot Fondor w/ Mob Pts, depending on your hand. You will want to deploy the Exec DB, and hopefully use Imp Command to grab Piett and set up Merrejk to pull your systems.
From there, get out your ISDs and systems, and spread and drain. Come With Me (V) helps get out pilots if you don't want Command grabbed. At the same time, you obviously want to flip. To do that, you use the ever-popular ORS and the other asterixed characters (ISB Agents) to flip. Be sure to lose ISBs at every opportunity to so you can constantly retrieve them.
If they come to fight in space, all the better! You can use your V ISDs to come down cheaply to overpower your opponent. You don't have great destiny in the deck, so overpowering them is key. Lat Damage helps, as does limiting their destiny w/ Imp Com. Vader and MH (V) reduce destiny in case they are relying upon it to make up the power difference.
On the ground you must pick your battle carefully. You can use Battle Deployment to limit their destinies. Veers and Bliz 2 are heavy hitters, but you can use others like BFBH, Vader, 4 LOM, Zuck and Tarkin to add destinies. IMO, you are far better to use AAT Leader to hide 5D6 and reduce drains. Arica and Darth Maul can also block drains and eliminate presence in many cases.
Thanks for reading and hopefully reviewing!
EDIT
Thanks for the review, Cam. I'm gonna evenutally do and ISB Scum deck and incorporate your ideas. As noted attrition is a problem in this version- I think it will be much easier to pull off in the Scummy version.
Thanks for the review, Borg!
