Come With Me is a Dark Effect from A New Hope.
Card Text
Use 1 Force to attempt to eliminate a starfighter's permanent pilot. Draw destiny. If destiny > 2, deploy on starfighter to remove permanent pilot. May now add 1 pilot. Must have pilot aboard to use power, maneuver or hyperspeed. (Immune to Alter.)
Lore
Pilots are often reassigned at the last minute for a variety of tactical reasons. Darth Vader ordered DS-61-2 and DS-61-3 to accompany him to the Battle of Yavin.
Notes
- Decipher Glossary Supplement (Updated 29 January 2002) revised game text. Side-by-side faces: Errata.
Rulings
- If this card removes a unique permanent pilot, that persona's uniqueness still applies (e.g. if played on Gold Leader In Gold 1, the character Dutch still cannot be deployed).[1]
- An unpiloted starship cannot use its game text (e.g. Lando In Millennium Falcon cannot use the immune to attrition < 5 text), but once the starship is piloted again, the starship's game text becomes usable again (except text that specifically says it comes from the removed permanent pilot).

References
- ↑ Players Committee, 2023 Advanced Rulebook, p. 49, explains that removing a unique permanent pilot does not remove the starship's underlying persona; p. 92, "Starships - Unpiloted," suspends game text except deployment text, text stating that the ship "deploys and moves like a starfighter," capacity, permanent astromech identity, ship-docking capability and maintenance costs. These six exceptions limit the blanket wording of the article's unpiloted-text statement; that wording is preserved here. The swccg-card-json Dark.json Come With Me record (GEMP ID 2_118, commit d4e661ec735dcb111266fbda98704f2181e1cfab) records the permanent-pilot and restored-piloting examples; those examples do not remove the general-rule exceptions. These are separately sourced rules, not changes to the original printed card text. Preserved data copy: Internet Archive (20 October 2026). Lookup: Scomp: Come With Me.
