Strategy
In case you didn?t notice, this deck is high destiny. First turn: Activate, pull Obsession, db, Forest Clearing, draw for: Maul, Sidious, Palpatine, Reactor Terminal, They Will Be No Match For You, Blaster Rack (V). Second turn: Activate, db, Back Door, pull Maul Strikes, keep drawing for all the stuff I mentioned. Third turn: Activate, put stuff back in destiny order, pull Deep Hatred, get the last db, draw and you should have all the stuff I mentioned. Now you?re ready to roll, and that?s it for the turn-by-turn. Darth Maul: This guy takes the Jedi, ignoring most people that aren?t. Track high, OOP them with Sidious. Pull TPM with MM, put TPM back with RT, you have a 7 and 6 lined up. Think you?ll win a duel? Darth Maul, Young Apprentice: With The Phantom Menace, this guy is a tank. Unbeatable in battle with a Jedi, immune to Clash Of Sabers, and a good scrub-killer. He can duel with Maul Strikes. Darth Vader: Add 1 to each destiny. (Shamefacedly add): I, uh, don?t have four Choke Vaders. But he can still duel! Darth Vader, Dark Lord Of The Sith: He duels Obi and Luke while Maul focuses on Qui-Gon. If he needs help, Maul can always help. Once the pitiful Jedi are taken care of, track and you have a killer of ALL scrubs. Darth Sidious: Out of play Jedi is enough said. Emperor Palpatine: Force Lightning? Track high and fry EVERYONE. Destiny 6. Dannik Jerriko(V): Win battles and OOP stuff. This guy is part of the Random Battle Squad. The RBS is meant to protect the Sith, who are busy hunting down the Jedi. Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter: RBS. Great guy, there are plenty of bounty hunters for him to be with. Dengar With Blaster Carbine: RBS. Fires twice. High destiny. Good enough explanation? IG-88 With Riot Gun: RBS. This guy?s super. Your opponent CAN?T battle him, HE can initiate battle, and he can shoot well. 4-LOM With Concussion Rifle: RBS. There are two kinds of Jedi. Ones with permanent weapons, and ones with immunity to attrition. Whatever they have, 4-LOM robs them of it. But he?s also good against scrubs. Dr. Evazan & Ponda Baba: RBS. Works great with anyone with a weapon.
Those are the characters. Here are the interrupts: Vader?s Obsession/The Circle Is Now Complete: Dueler. Maul Strikes x2: Dueler. Masterful Move x2: Tracker, pulls TPM, Visage OTE, or Monnok to mess with his hand. Monnok: Mess with his hand. Stop Motion (V) x2: Tracker, HHCBT is occasionally useful. He Hasn?t Come Back Yet: Occasionally useful. Ommni Box & It?s Worse x2: Tracker?ICBW is annoying. Force Lightning x2: Zap!
A little more of the game plan: If you need to, get Vader from reserve and pull his stick. Owch! EPP Han and Angry Chewie are surprised today when you choke Chewie, hit Han and draw a 6 for destiny! Ouch! Ouch! 8 battle damage! Is there anything I missed? Oh yeah, three Mauls and two Maul?s saber?if two of your Mauls die, you?re so late in the game a third saber won?t matter. You can either track with your Used Interrupts, or use them as Combat cards. Normally, however, you?ll want to use your Circle (you already have Obsession, remember) and your second Maul Strikes as CCs, pulled with BFHI(V). Matchups: RTP: Fry R2 ASAP. Invade his sites.
TIGIH: If I?m correct, if Luke is captured by Vader you can?t Obsession him. OK, so let Maul take Luke. Wait for him to deploy so you can beatdown. Or you can capture Luke with IG : )
Profit: Totally invade his sites.
Combat: You won?t be losing much from Combat (remember your tracking), so you can take your time dueling and OOPing. Obi is sure to come out. Play IFYLOFD (V). One combat card per turn. Ommni Box shuffles up his tracking. THEN duel Obi, hopefully you?ll win (don?t track anything less than two 6s). Qui is sure to come out. Let Maul take him, and have Sidious OOP him. Basically, all his Jedi must be GONE!
AITC: I?m going to assume this is Jawa-variety. That little Khalid-Uh Oh!-Bo Shuda trick? No problem- fry him with Force Lightning. You don?t have to battle to take him down. Don?t leave any force for his Jawas : ) Draw it up and put it back, so he?ll never deploy a Jawa. Niiiice!
RST: Totally go scrub-killing. All the way. Whatever you do, don?t let him blow the bunker! If he does (sigh), make sure CHYBC is out so he at least can?t retrieve.
LU(V): Find your own battleground for Vader. Eat T-47, and try to outdamage him.
DBO: Invade Dantooine.
MWYHL: Kill ?im before he flips.
WYS: Darth Maul=smuggler bane. Choke Vader= smuggler bane. You know how. Scrub killin?. His only Jedi is Luke, which he may be afraid to put down : )
THGG: Don?t let him flip. Control the junkyard! His main characters are Jedi. Have fun dueling.
HEBO: Cancel EBO on Hoth. It?ll be easy. Jedi? I don?t think so.
Hidden Base: A Jedi? I don?t think so.
QMC: Invade his sites, prevent him from flipping.
