Player's Council is the YouTube channel of the Player's Council, the volunteer organization that has maintained Decipher's The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game since Decipher stopped supporting it. Besides LOTR-TCG tournaments, meetings and development streams (also streamed live on Twitch as playerscouncil), the channel holds the largest archive of Decipher's audio shows, including Radio Free Decipher, and footage from DecipherCon 2000.[1][2] The channel has about 270 uploads (January 2021 – 2026), of which about 230 concern Decipher's games generally rather than LOTR-TCG play.

Decipher radio archive[edit]

From February to May 2022 the channel uploaded the surviving episodes of Decipher's audio shows, recovered from Wayback copies of decipher.com and from the files of former host Evan Lorentz, with an episode index on the LOTR-TCG Player's Council wiki.[3][4][5]

Copies of these uploads are kept on the Internet Archive.

SWCCG-related videos[edit]

The Star Wars CCG GEMP server descends from the LOTR-TCG GEMP code, and some development streams on the channel cover the SWCCG side. In June 2025 the channel streamed a two-part demonstration of the card test rig newly imported into SWCCG GEMP, used for fixing bugs, testing cards and developing new cards, followed by a stream building unit tests for one card from scratch.[6][7][2]
