Translation of Japanese Text
Title: Overload.[1]
Card text: Choose any one weapon as a target, except a Gaderffii Stick or an Ewok weapon. Draw destiny. If the destiny is less than that weapon's destiny, the weapon is lost. If the destiny is zero, the character or starship carrying the weapon is lost at the same time.[1]
Lore: Weapons such as lightsabers, turbolasers and blasters operate using powerful energy cells or generators. Sometimes a cell overheats and explodes together with the weapon.[1]
Comparison with the English printing: The Japanese explicitly says to choose one weapon and describes the weapon and its carrier being lost at the same time when the destiny is zero. The English says to target any weapon and that the carrier is also lost. The Japanese lore says that an overheated cell explodes together with the weapon; the English says that overheating causes the weapon to explode unexpectedly.[2]
