Translation of Japanese Text

Title: Strangulation.[1]

Card text: Choose either of the following. 1: Immediately cause any one Rebel soldier/trooper to be lost. 2: Use immediately after winning a battle in which a Dark Jedi participated. Use 1 Force and choose one opposing character who participated in the battle. Draw destiny; if the destiny is greater than the target's ability, the target is lost.[1]

Lore: Darth Vader sometimes resorts to somewhat physical methods during interrogation. Captain Antilles of Tantive IV chose death rather than reveal the whereabouts of the Death Star plans.[1]

Comparison with the English printing: The Japanese first option says one Rebel soldier/trooper; the English names one Rebel Trooper. In the second option the Japanese describes a Dark Jedi and opposing character who participated in the battle, while the English uses present for both. The English expressly calls the action an attempt to choke; the Japanese describes choosing the character and resolving the destiny comparison. The Japanese lore omits the English description of the Death Star plans as stolen.[2]
