Matthew Clemans

Matthew Clemans (also published as Matt Clemans and Matt Clemens; DeckTech handle FridayKnight)[1] was a Decipher-era Squadron Member, Gold 107 from Danville, Kentucky.[2]
A Centre College student, he started the Kentucky tournament scene in fall 1998.[3] He posted a Dark Tatooine Occupation list on DeckTech in August 1999.[1] At the 2000 Death Star II Pre-Release (Normal) in Normal, Illinois, on 24 June 2000, David Marincic's report names him as a Squadron Member from Kentucky.[4]
In their own words
I started playing Star Wars CCG in 1995, right when the game first came out. I remember, I got the Millennium Falcon in my first starter deck. Unfortunately, I didn't get into the playing scene till after my Sophomore year at Centre College. I found out that there was no local playing scene within several hours of me - so I decided to create one!
I got in touch with some other local players here in Kentucky and began to run tournaments. That was in the Fall of 1998. Since then, we've had tournaments on a regular basis and our player base has grown steadily. I'm looking forward to more events and more players and I hope my relationship with the Squadron program is a long and productive one![3]
