This deck is a heck of a lot of fun to play, and no mistake! The thing is, it's also almost to the point of being tourney viable...
The deck title is "Sand People Surprise"... what's the surprise, you ask? Exhaustion! This is a little-played card from Hoth that does some pretty nifty damage. I'll save you the trouble of looking it up:
Exhaustion (destiny 5, unique)
Lost Interrupt
Opponent must lose 1 Force for each of opponent's missing characters on table. OR Select one missing character under "nighttime conditions" to be lost.
So now that you know what it does, it's pretty obvious that this is a bait-and-trap deck. Bait them in by doing some drain damage at your sites with your apparently weak ground force (Tuskens are surprisingly powerful if played right), drop a Sandwhirl, and let the damage begin!
While the bait-and-trap is pretty easy to spot, you're probably scratching your head over a few other things.
Levitation Attack (V) and Weapon o/a Ungrateful Son - drop those Restraining Bolts onto a CZ-4 and WoaUS them into your deck. This gives you an extra 6 destiny 6 cards in your deck. Woohoo!
Captain Bewil (V) - a bit out of place in a Tusken deck, you say? Well, I guess he is... but in an interrupt-reliant deck like this, he is the MAN! Odds are he'll drop to Tatooine and pull a few interrupts before your opponent decides to visit, so his usefulness is limited to a very specific timeframe. Choose wisely.
Imbalance - retrieval decks piss me off. Cut their retrieval in half with this. Woohoo.
The average destiny in this deck is absolutely amazing... about 3.38, to be exact. Once the Tuskens start dropping, it gets closer to something around 4.5... ouch. Add on the fact that you'll be drawing multiple destinies, and you've got some nasty damage goin' on.
Enjoy!
