Holotable

Holotable is a downloaded virtual tabletop for Star Wars CCG. Matt Moseley held the 2004–2007 copyright on the program's readme.[1] The Ringer dates the launch to late 2004.[2] Players enforced the rules themselves on a shared table. The companion deck builder was Holodeck.[3][4]
TheForce.Net hosted Holotable from January 2007.[5] On 9 April 2007 it posted twelve preconstructed decks for Classic and Saga lists.[6] Saga used every card. Classic used a limited list. Saga required a Starting Effect to use Defensive Shields.[6] Those 2007 names are distinct from the later GEMP Classic family.
The Players Committee listed Holotable on its software page by 13 December 2013.[7] Version 0.9.9, announced 2 December 2014 and signed Matt, handled the virtual card reset.[8] GEMP later provided server-adjudicated play. Troy Biesterfeld created the Star Wars CCG implementation of GEMP.
Holotable was the usual online table during Virtual Original and Virtual Legacy. Championship lists from the 2014 Match Play Championship were published as Holotable exports.
