  • Posted '(V) Fall Of The Emperor' (under Effects): no card or original-era (V) printing by that name; dested the printed Fall Of The Empire (Cloud City Interrupt). Unsure.
  • Posted 'Inconsequential Barrier' dested Inconsequential Barriers; 'Bith Shuffle & Desperate Reach' The Bith Shuffle & Desperate Reach.
  • Original-era (V) slips: Wokling/Undercover (Light)/Sabotage (VS3), Rycar Ryjerd/Escape Pod x2 (VS2), 2-1B (VS4), Flash Of Insight x2 (VS5), Princess Leia/Bright Hope x2/Redemption/Bionic Hand/Civil Disorder/Imperial Atrocity x2 (VS6), Tawss Khaa/Yoda/Tantive IV/Mercenary Armor/Impressive, Most Impressive (VS7).
  • Original-era printing corrected: Yoda (V) (Virtual Set 7) -> Yoda (V) (Virtual Set 5) (an earlier dest had linked the modern virtual card of the same name).

Strategy

      • Strategy***

This is your fairly standard TIGIH beats deck. It has done well in playtesting, but I want to get some constructive criticism to refine it. First of all, I’ll give some ideas of what I’ve seen as possible weaknesses.

1) Space. I don’t have a system in it, and there is no easy, economic way to pull them for LS. Also, given the rise of CCT, is my space package enough?

2) Character selection. Do I have enough for effective beatdowns without sacrificing some of the Red?

3) Activation. Most TIGIH decks I see have both the Battle Plains and Boss Nass’s Chambers. Are the JJC and Hologameboard enough along with Wokling, the Jedi Masters and the force I may or may not get from my opponent?

4) Bullets. I’ve thrown in some things like Imperial Atrocity and Down With The Emperor to give some hurt to Walkers, but they can also be useful in other circumstances. Are there any other cards I should think about? Is there anything that is too specific that should go?

5) Other Stuff. I have Undercover, Merc Armor and Sabotage in there to attempt a first-turn cancellation of Carbon Chamber Console, among other things. I put them in there because of the problems that TIGIH can have against CCT, but is that overkill? Also, the lack of a Starting Effect and shields is because I don’t have any. Once I get them they will go in.

I would greatly appreciate any useful comments that people may have. Thanks for reading, God bless, and may the Force be with you.

      • EDIT***

ECF- Thanks for the review! Honor was actually in the deck until I recounted and found there were 61 cards. I'll try to fit it back in. Rendezvous point is a definate possibility.

vader12- Thank you for the review! I supposed I erred in calling this a beatdown deck. It's really built for waging a war of attrition. Deal direct damage through I Feel The Conflict and Draw Their Fire, and use Draw Their Fire, Civil Disorder, Bacta Tank, 2-1B and Flash of Insight to keep cards out of the lost pile. Once I acquire the LS Starting Effect and Don't Do That Again shield I'm going to switch over to the Obi-Wan OOP method which let's me get I Can't Believe He's Gone on the table. That way I can guarantee that I win more battles.
