Deck info[edit]

Introduction[edit]

Ewok Celebration makes people almost impossible to hit and makes Ewok Sentries forfiet 6. It's really hard for DS to get through all that to hurt the mains. Sure you gotta make sure you've always got two Ewoks around, but hey, there's a lot of Ewoks.

Strategy[edit]

First of all, I think we're all familiar with the Strike Planning for Crix trick. Grab Crix, deploy him, have him grab Chewie, deploy him, then you get Wuta and Lumat. You might have to wait for your second turn if your opponent doesn't give you any icons. Anyway, have Wuta get your sites, spread out and drain, but make sure that there's always enough Ewoks to get the +3 to defense value and forfiet, whether actually at the site or in your hand for reacts--careful about Monnok though. If Crush is out without Yarna, you're going to need to deploy them as you get them--probably to a middle site, and make sure there's always unique Ewoks around so they can move as a react.

Grab Han and use him as needed. (Speaking of, I Know is in there for the free Leia and Anakin's Saber more than anything else). Remember he can cancel a destiny for 2 force with any scout (including the Sentries) at any exterior site. I only mention that because no one ever remembers you can do that.

Send Qui-Gon & Lando & Leia (as well as Chewie & Han, if you've got docking bay connections) to attack targets of opportunity--the more battles you win, the more careful dark side has to be about deploying Vader.

Advantage is just wonderful--remember you don't need to stick it on someone with high ability--it can go on any warrior--even Chewie--who wins a battle with a high ability character--you can even get it with the Don't Do That Again Shield!

Home One is just in case--Dark side might not think you have any ships and you can catch them spreading out in space sometimes. It won't survive long, but you can win a battle with it. Even before I put this ship in, I beat a dedicated DS space deck by simply outdraining them--Bargaining Table helps here.
