Cartman - Worlds Day 2/3 Deck

Strategy

Avg Destiny - 3.173

I know Shaw added a Grabber puller in the deck and 3 ***Grabbers under An Unusual Amount of Fear for day 3 because the grabbers pull even more cards out of your opponent's deck.

By the way, Props to PhataLerror for playtesting with against me with this deck as I tweaked it. I know DDM and Garrett also tested against the non-see threepio versions too.

This is the deck Greg used for Day 2 and 3 and Kafer used in the consolation tournament. Did very well for the most part but had some bad matchups in day 3 (see below). Overall is a fun deck to play and is a tracking machine.

Thought I would post it now before Carr does this week. This is the deck (the changes aren't here) that I created and then Shaw, Kafer and Gogolen helped tweak into the pile you see.

I was looking for a light deck for Greg and Bill to use at worlds and thought of this pile. Originally we tried a few different versions:

Beggar's Canyon start with Podracing and OMDH v

Careful Planning with Palace Raiders

Beggar's Canyon start with Wokling start

Beggar's Canyon start with Seeking an Audience start

Careful Planning with OMDHv

Eventually I realized the See-Threepio v8 would allow you to cycle through your deck and get cards you needed. The deck really got better with the current decklist (Stone Piles = greg's brilliant idea) Those cards wreck people.

Matchups

Basically the deck does very well against everything except 2 main matchups

Dark Senate

Scum

With those decks, you just play the camp (or cut it for some other cards) or Scrambled Transmission v and just play the best you can.

It destroys Fear v, Rops, Hunt Down, Endor Ops, and a few other random dark decks so its really a solid choice currently.

Because the opponent needs to pay to draw, and pay to drain, and pay extra to deploy, they run out of cards in their hand. Once they do that, the choke really starts in and you just hit at them.

Don't forget, because of the pay to draw, in the right matchups, you can retrieve every card in your lost pile with Flash v x2.

Have Fun!
