Strategy

From , Gold 29

It Could Be Worse should be a must for just about any Light Side deck, allowing you to save lost Force by using it instead.

The benefits of this card far outweigh using Control to cancel Force drains. Firstly, it is used and not lost. This is most important. At the end of the game you want to have as many cards left as you possibly can.

Secondly, it has a destiny value of 4 while Control has a destiny of only 2. If you play with 4 or 5 in your deck, you will find them popping up very often allowing for very nice destiny draws.

It is susceptible to It's Worse, but all you need to do is protect yourself with a few Controls if your dealing with Force drains, and a few Senses if you are using this card for any other purpose.

Rulings

  • May be played to reduce battle damage (may use multiple Force to reduce multiple points of battle damage).
  • If It's Worse is then played to increase Force loss, this increases battle damage. Damage segment continues normally, with Light still able to forfeit cards to cover battle damage.
  • See It's Worse for additional rulings.
