- Description: Combat Readiness Scum and Villainy. Winner of teh 2005 US Nationals at Origins.
Strategy
This is teh deck i used to take first place at us nationals at origins this year. it's nothing new or incredible but mike carr told me that if i didnt post it he would so i figured wtf mate i'll do it.
anyway a cursory glance at teh list should be enough to see teh changes i made to teh cookie-cutter list of this decktype. teh biggest change is in teh start, where i added combat response to get my ships. teh psychology behind this is as follows: you no longer can rely on teh space cruiser to get yer exhaust out. cuz people are gettin wise to that and like 4 of 5 light decks are wys v which kinda pulls a guy that stops you from reacting. plus against said deck you really really want maul out as soon as possible. cuz he's a beast. so rolling teh dice on teh space cruiser is just not an intelligent play.
ok next i added in control combos cuz guess what theyre f'in good against wys also. especially when u bounce dash back to their hand and beat teh fock out of leebo, or bounce 1 corellian and capture another and beat teh fock out of teh last one. and then u can retrieve teh controls with scum and track them and draw them into hand with UROURUOUR and play them again w00t
then there's teh lateral damage. that card is teh sup3r 1337 rox0rzz0zz so dine on it
oh yeah and gela yeens is there cuz ppl were playing homo exhaust like quad laser cannons wtf?? and i do not like to put teh space cruiser in my lost pile.
btw against trm u must start no bargain and molator instead of combat response and all wrapped up. this way u do not get teh shaftola when ur opponent peels opening hand goo and obiwan.
