Strategy

So the decks a bit old eh? Yeah, I know. I played this deck and versions of it for a long timetoo long I think.

One thing to remember, the Coruscant DB is the same planet as the Jedi Council ChamberI forgot until my opponent reminded me at the NYC tournament last year.

This deck has one point and one point only. Draw lots of battle destinies with Sidious on Coruscant, I run Nemoidians and Emperors power to add extra battle destinies for a small deploy cost. It works great. In addition I use Bossk in HT and Res Luk to draw 4 destinies in space. Coupling this with Overestimate and you get a large amount of battle damage if done right.

This deck really had no main strategy other than to adapt to the opponent and force them to let their guard down where Vader/Maul/Fett are not. This is when the Nemoidians come to play. It really is a one dimensional deck that relied on battling before battling was popular again (Eg Civil Disorder (V)) and it did pretty well. With Drop in the deck, I only needed to win 2 battles then I would stack 1,1,7 and I could win the game once Vader captured Luke.

Since the deck had only one dimension, there were some problems QMC decks since they would run away from my Nemi beatdowns along with Dash in space limiting the power of the BiHT.

In addition, WYS killed this deck. I lost to 3 WYS decks at worlds 2002 because everyone played it. So right now WYS is a bit out of the scene (it is starting to make a comeback with DS SAC being around again) so it would continue to be a meta choice because 9/10 WYS wins.

Some card choices-

Endor:DB Dalton put it in. I never had a BG site in the deck but he reminded me that without it, the direct damage is useless vs TRM choke decks or space decks.

Ree-Yees and Zuckuss I wanted cheap deploy bounty hunters with good power, since I started Molator (V), Goo was not a problem. These guys worked with Fett.

Dead Ewok great for battles in space where they have Dash or Mirax and you make them forfeit=0. This was needed to give me any chance against WYS for overflow.

The deck is a blast. I recommend you try it.
