Strategy
Haw-haw-haw! The Neimoidians finally make their SWCCG premiere in the Coruscant expansion in true Hong Kong funny-hat style, and Rune Haako is no exception. While he may not seem as strong as Lott Dod, Nute Gunray, or that stunted slime Daultay Dofine, Rune Haako definitely has his uses.
One of the first things you'll notice is that Rune has one of the highest forfeit values of any Dark Side character – a whopping 6 – making him ideal forfeit fodder. He also has 3 ability, 2 power, 2 destiny and remarkable game text that makes battle a snap.
While Rune is in battle, you may choose one number. If the destiny on the next card your opponent draws for destiny matches the number you called, it's reduced to zero. It doesn't matter if your opponent was drawing for battle destiny, weapon destiny, Fallen Portal destiny: as long as the number on the drawn card matches Rune's ever-tingling "destiny sense," it's effectively canceled.
Of course, it can be hard to call the right number at the right time. Fortunately for you, Rune has some other applications. For one thing, he's a miniature Scum And Villainy, enabling you to retrieve Force when you initiate battle at his site or an adjacent site. For another, Lott Dod can increase his forfeit value to an amazing 8. And then there's The Phantom Menace to contend with.

Give Rune extra flexibility during battle by peeking at the top three cards of your opponent's Reserve deck.
