Template:Card/sandbox
Sandbox for infobox proposal B (pass 5). Live Template:Card is unchanged.
One Info list: Title, Side, Type, Set, Publisher, GEMP ID, PC alias, Slip, Era, Rarity, Uniqueness, Extra, stats, Dark Force Icons, Light Force Icons, Icons, Likeness, Versions last.
Versions prefixes: Decipher, Decipher (AI), Virtual Original, Virtual Legacy, Virtual Legacy (AI), Virtual Modern, Virtual Modern (ALT).
Empty optional rows are omitted. test=1 skips card categories and adds a live-card link.
See SWCCG Wiki:Card infobox test B.
This is the documentation for Template:Card, the card-page template.
One page = one printing. Do not put empty errata sections on a card that was never errata'd.
Optional card_status — a short status label for a printing that needs context outside the standard Decipher / Players Committee bands (for example, a cancelled design's community remaster). The label appears above the card template. Use only a sourced status; omit it for ordinary printings.
Optional publisher — publisher credited by the set article (Decipher, Players Committee, or a named person). Inherit from the set infobox. For a cancelled set, use its documented planned publisher; this does not imply that the cards were released. Renders after Set when filled.
Optional era — championship era hub: Decipher era, Virtual Original, Virtual Legacy, or Virtual Modern. Renders after Publisher when filled.
GEMP ID — the id GEMP actually loads, as set_card (for example 1220_51, 1_19). Bare on the current playable article, o on the first-published face, d only as a middle layer when print, Decipher errata, and PC errata are three distinct texts. Pass gemp_id or the older card_uid (alias). Shown in monospace. Dest keys such as pc|vbN|... belong in authoring JSON, not here.
Optional rarity and uniqueness — omit either field when the source does not establish it; no blank row is shown. Read uniqueness from the printed title marker: one bullet is Unique, no marker is Unrestricted, and multiple bullets use the corresponding Limited or Restricted value. For a combo, inspect the marker on both halves. If the title area is cropped or unreadable, omit uniqueness.
Optional credits — count only the gold coin circles in the card’s bottom credit area, following the card’s orientation. The single gold badge beside the lore panel is not a credit. Show only positive Credits. Omit the parameter when there are no credit coins or the value is unknown; empty, null and zero values do not render a row. Keep confirmed zero distinct from unknown in the source-data ledger.
Optional pc_alias — Players Committee GEMP alias (601_x / 501_x) when it differs from the GEMP ID.
Optional slip — printed slip number on the virtual sheet (for example 51E). Data, not the id.
Versions — family navigator (Option C, 26 October 2026; errata prefix 26 October 2026). Closed prefixes, oldest first: Decipher, Decipher (AI), Decipher Errata, PC Errata, Virtual Original, Virtual Legacy, Virtual Legacy (AI), Virtual Modern, Virtual Modern (ALT). Unmarked Decipher is the printed face. Decipher Errata is a later Decipher rewrite. PC Errata only when the Players Committee rewrote past Decipher. Full lineage both directions. Omit when this printing is the only one. Host twins that share one GEMP id use one line plus a hatnote. Pass versions or the older printings (alias). Bold the current-printing label and place its GEMP ID in <code>. Worked: Luke Skywalker.
Do not pass version_label. The old Version row (printed / virtual) is dropped. Era and Versions already mark Players Committee printings as Virtual Original, Virtual Legacy, or Virtual Modern.
Optional likeness — person whose face is on the card: a photographic model Decipher (or the Players Committee) cast, or the film portrayer of that character. Wiki-link the person page. Worked: Mara Jade, The Emperor's Hand → Shannon Baksa; Aurra Sing / Aurra Sing (AI) → Michonne Bourriague. Omit when the art is illustration, a starship/weapon, or a later virtual photograph that is not that person.
Optional PC label fields (swccg-guild/work#100) — the small labels the Players Committee prints on a Virtual card, copied by bot from billbisco/swccg-gemp card_labels.json; correct them there, not here, or the next bot run puts the old value back. original_title — the black title strip at the bottom left (the title of the card this one was made from; on Virtual Legacy cards the slip title). original_title_italic — yes when the whole strip is italic, or the italic part (for example Executor). errata_mark — the errata stamp, bottom right (E1, D-E1). ai_mark — the alternate-image stamp as printed, (AI) or (ALT). concept_credit — the "Original concept by …" line. art_credit — the art credit printed beside the art ("Image courtesy of …"). dedication — an "In memory of …" line in the bottom bar. printed_label — any other small printed line (for example a contest name on the card's edge). copyright_line — the vertical copyright line beside the art, as printed (the standard "ARTWORK NEITHER AFFILIATED WITH NOR ENDORSED BY LUCASFILM LTD." too; Virtual Block lines are recorded only where legible). The Alternate-image stamp row shows the Players Committee logo printed beside (AI)/(ALT). Worked: Endless Legions (original title, concept and art credits); Executor: Control Station (V) (partly italic title, Decipher copyright line). All are omitted when the card doesn't print them.
Optional reviews — published reviews of this card (fan-site or magazine), one bullet each: reviewer, outlet, date when known, rating if given, a short summary and a brief quote, cited with a <ref> carrying the Preserved copy (set has_refs). Renders as Reviews after Strategy. Omit when none. Worked: Chasm (Jeff Hansen, Neglected Card Series).
Optional anagram — one sentence that the printed title is an anagram of a named person. Renders as Anagram. Adds Category:Anagrams. Omit when none. Link Anagrams from See also. Worked: Nabrun Leids → Tom Braunlich.
Optional joke — a joke in this printing's title, lore or game text, cited (or approved by Bill, with the approval on the card's Talk page). Renders as Joke directly after Anagram. Adds Category:Jokes. Omit when none. Link Jokes from See also. Worked: Swing-And-A-Miss.
Optional easter_egg — the hidden picture, icon, likeness or other visual detail on this printing, cited. Renders as Easter egg immediately before See Also. Adds Category:Easter eggs. Omit when none. Link Easter eggs from See also. Worked: Death Star: Trench.
sources — card-data sources supplied here (card list, slip, PDF). Give each source its own bullet with a Preserved copy. The template renders a Sources heading only when filled. Do not repeat a source already cited with <ref> for one claim. List it here again only when it supplies the entire card entry. has_refs — set when the page has <ref> notes; renders References. see_also renders See Also only when filled.
Optional image2 — second portrait under image (same 280px width). Used for Objective 0/7 faces; omit on single-face cards.
Optional image2_trim — display-only trim for excess padding on the second image. A value of 20 requests a 320px thumbnail and hides 20px on each edge inside a 280px-wide rounded window. Measure each image separately and preserve a normal black border, all text and all symbols. The source File and downloaded image are unchanged. Omit for ordinary images.
Optional image2_layout — how to place image2 when set:
- omit or stack — force stacked vertically (0 on top, 7 below); default when unset
- right — force side-by-side always (0 left, 7 right); classes card-portraits-row + card-rail-dual
- responsive — preferred Objective mode: wide viewport = side-by-side (0 left, 7 right); narrow viewport (max-width 720px) = stacked. Same row/dual markup plus card-rail-responsive / card-portraits-responsive so CSS media query can adapt.
