Style pass (2026-10-15)
Possibly faulty data
- Legacy section said "Full-pool championships dest as Legacy Open" and "A tighter Block cutoff dests as Premiere - Virtual Block {N} when a source names that cutoff." "dest as" looks garbled (probably "are titled"); rewritten as "The full pool is Legacy Open". The Premiere - Virtual Block {N} naming convention was cut (wiki naming rule, not a fact).
Marginal cuts
- Cut editor guidance from the body: "This page is a short index. It does not replace official tournament documents."; "This wiki does not equate "Open" with "Standard"; use the event's own wording and linked docs."; "add stub pages here only when a PC or GEMP source names them for a documented event"; "this wiki does not copy them here"; "add wiki one-liners only after citing those pages".
- Sources list removed. Alternate Format Tournament Guide was already ref "afg"; Tournament resources and Rules (starwarsccg.org) are now refs on the starwarsccg.org sentence; Watto's Chance Cube is a ref on the cube sentence. Jawa Format and Utinni! remain as inline links in "Other labeled formats".

Hub rework (21 October 2026)
Reorganized this hub so that every format on the GEMP format list has its own page and a one-line entry here. Sources: GEMP swccgFormats.json at billbisco/swccg-gemp commit ec48dc19ee12c82d3b0a89aa15a944e7976f82cc (51 formats), plus the PC format pages and forum threads cited on each page.
- New family sections: Open family, Classic family (Classic, Classic (no v-cards), Classic (no v-cards) (Modified)), Legacy, Decipher-era pools (now with the Modified pools and Premiere - JPSD), Original Virtual, current-virtual retro pools, other labeled formats (Jawa, Scavenger, Ewok, Utinni!, Limited Resources, 100 Card), limited (cube, draft, sealed), and casual/testing.
- The GEMP environments section is now a table of all 51 GEMP names, codes and wiki pages.
- Existing sourced text was kept and moved into the matching section. Every ref now has a Preserved copy (swccg.com snapshots captured by the Internet Archive).
- The play.swccg.com format list (
/hall/formats/html) needs a login, so it was not read directly. The deployed checkout on the GEMP server is at the same commit and itsswccgFormats.jsonhas the same sha256 as the repository file. - Before this edit the wiki had a page for 21 of the 51 GEMP formats, plus Classic (no v-cards) (Modified) as a section. After it, all 51 have a page.
- Redirects added: Classic No V, Classic No V Modified, Premiere - Death Star II (Ewok), PDS2E, 100 Card Deck Format, Utinni! Format, Limited Resources (format), Premiere - JPSD, Watto's Cube. A copy was saved by mistake at Open (no shields _ no v-cards) and was a redirect to Open (no shields / no v-cards). It was deleted on 21 October 2026, and the save script now sends titles exactly as written.

Build notes (October 2026)
Added a Differences from the Players Committee GEMP section, built by comparing swccgFormats.json at billbisco/swccg-gemp commit ec48dc19 with PlayersCommittee/gemp-swccg-public commit 5e26dd19. The only other difference, a comment on the Open entry, is left out. Commit 12cbfa1d (pull request 234) added the per-type sealed and draft formats. Commit 53f5b8e3 (pull request 256) set Cube to 40. Pull requests 267, 272 and 273 changed Legacy. Added links to GEMP sealed league products and GEMP draft and cube products. Comlink Cursor (talk) 13:38, 21 October 2026 (UTC)
GEMP GitHub commit pins
Updated billbisco/swccg-gemp blob URLs from pre-rewrite commit SHAs to the rewritten history. Old snapshot Preserved copies kept; new GitHub URLs saved on the Wayback Machine. Datacard Grok (talk) 04:26, 22 October 2026 (UTC)
Era map (2026-10-23)
Proposal A: four era hubs (Decipher era, Virtual Original, Virtual Legacy, Virtual Modern), full-pool format Premiere - Original VS17, and Template:Eras. 2003–2006 Worlds Format cells left blank until a numbered original-VS cutoff is sourced. Datacard Grok (talk) 19:42, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
Set indexes (2026-10-23)
Eras table gained a Set index column: Virtual Sets (2002-2009), Virtual Blocks (2009-2014), Current Virtual Sets. Datacard Grok (talk) Datacard Grok (talk) 20:40, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
