ok, before u dismiss this deck simply because it uses politics, think it over, check it our all the game texts and i think ull agree that this deck is awesome. First things first, flip the objective. u shouldnt have any trouble so get set up with one senator each there. the game texts are amazing. Tikkes will boost your activation, passel argente will kill hidden base w/ tons of x-wings, yeb yeb can kill an important card of your opponents before it even hits his hand, Lott Dod can get out whatever u want, etc. etc. use the docking bays for activation, if ur opponent is at battleground sites, attack. use elis helrot to move your force around, operate with Dr. E, use the political effects every turn (u can clear them every turn afterwards). vader, maul, fett, ig-88, dr. E with his gun +maul strikes= 5-6 destiny, plenty of shots (=immediately lost characters), and plenty of power. your opponent is dead. if your opponent is hiding, draining, etc. outdrain him! use arica, control, and the political effect to cancel drains. spread out on tatooine to drain (with the lightsabers total loss is 8 a turn, plus one at the senate, one at the system, 2 from the political effect = 12 a turn!) use imperial barrier and elis helrot to prevent the beatdown if he tries to supprise u. card selections: for the most part its pretty obvious, plenty of senators for the political effects, sense to stop any really painful interrupts, non-unique lightsabers so anyone can use them to drain, starships are selected for ability of at least 2 power and low deploy (although i am thinking of tossing executer in), plenty of high power characters for the beatdown.
comments: catman421, i have played more than one game with this deck. not as many as i would like, thats for sure, but definately more than one. it has been succesful against yavin throne room mains, Echo base ops, hidden base; but maybe different versions of those decks could beat me. thats y i want people to give constructive comments on how to improve this deck
people, please rate this deck, catman421 just isnt happy b/c i completely flattened his rated hidden base deck, he knows the drain plan works
rogue assasin, i didnt say it was unbeatable, i said it was unbeaten so far. im posting it online so that i can get feedback on the types of decks that i need to look out for. i realize the objective and type isnt all that popular, but it works, and so far ive staved off defeat.
everyone, please check it out, research it, maybe play it a little, b4 taking someone elses word on this deck
Tyranus, thanx for the tip on the starting, id gone with the system so i could get around my own battle order early on, but the landing site/phantom menace starting looks real good.
