Ok. I simply love this deck and am thankful that my friend wasn't playing with the cards i need at the time i wanted to make this deck work. This is a very basic x-wing swarm deck. However, because it is so basic (i.e. i dont try and do the t-47 battle formation as well) it usually wins. When it encounters a dark space deck, all the better for me. With deploy 1 x-wings, there is little the opponent can do. Combat Response(i think that is what it is called, starships power -2 unless a capital and starfighter present) might slow down the beat up a little but with an organized attack and incom corp. down, power 3 for a deploy of 1 multiple times can still hurt. Sometimes you might even have spiral or tantive and that will give you 5 power for 1. Rapid fire is to get out the x-wing cannons to shoot down annoying bounty hunter ships such as zuckuss. Hyper escape is nice if you just have an x-wing at a system for a little to block a drain and you need to get out of there. Rebel barrier keeps that key character or starship that might turn the game the other way from battling and gives you the chance to reenforce or run away. Han chewie and the falcon is a beast with life debt (unless they play that stupid defensive shield) cuz 4 destiny certainly isnt bad, even if you have to POOP them after a turn. The average destiny is descent after most of your stuff is out (all sites can be pulled as can a few characters and effects) and your awrp gets an x-wing or 2 a turn to put on rebel fleet or reenforce a system.
