Strategy
Like I said in the description, this deck is very prone to cause NPE's. My friend took a similar version that went 2-0, and this one went 1-1 (losing to a Watto that decided to play some numbers... cheese meets cheese).
Basic strat: it's gonna take you a few turns to set up your space force anyways, so flipping on turn 5 (minimum) isn't that much of a drawback... if it's too much of a problem for you, pull and X-Wing Guns and Brave Little Droid, move Endor and Kiffex into the deck itself, and add a couple more shields (anti-numbers would be a good idea :P). However, I didn't really have that much of a problem with the so-called "late flip" on the deck.
General Solo, Bright Hope (V), Brave Little Droid, and Wedge are in here as mass destiny cancellers... try to have one of each of these at each system if possible (though BLD only comes out if you can't seem to pull R2 in R5). Beyond that, you've got drain systems, Kessel Runs from Rendezvous Point (using Melas as pilot aboard the Skate), and a bunch of high-destiny recycling cards. Woohoo.
Here's why this deck creates an NPE: Rebel Planners (V), in it's current (and soon-to-be-changed) state allows you to exchange an HB marker AFTER YOU FLIP. There is NOTHING that says the new marker has to already be on table... and trust me, Glenn Hall spent the majority of his time with his nose buried in an StG looking for a way to break this loophole. There is none... the card is just broken. As the new marker is not on table, you now have an un-probeable system, meaning that your objective can NEVER be placed out of play.
My sincerest appologies to everybody at Glenn Hall's tournament this weekend for creating such a controversy over this deck. And trust me, controversy is an understatement.
Enjoy!
