Introduction[edit]
A lot of people have been looking for a halfway decent Invasion deck design, so here ya go! I'll put up my Destroyer Droid version in the near future.
The published list has 62 cards.

Strategy[edit]
Been a while since I've done an Invasion deck... I thought I'd give the destiny 8 blasters version a try, so here it is!
Strat is fairly simple. Pull the sites (keeping the Swamp as the center site), pull Security Precautions (V) and play it on the center site to boost generation, Expand The Empire on the Swamp to increase your drains at the other two sites. Use the Battle Droids to hold Naboo, while the Destroyers and Maul go on some hit-and-run missions. The Battle Droid Blaster Rifles have three main uses: they're destiny +2 from AELOMBT for weapon or battle destiny, firing a couple in a battle gives you +5 power from Crossfire, and they can be used for forfeit fodder with Inconsequential Losses. Oh yeah, and you can use the Artilleries to do some extra damage.
Space, as is always the case with Invasion, is weak as hell. Against a dedicated space deck like Hidden Base or Massassi Base Ops, you're gonna get creamed... but not without putting up one hell of a fight. With battle destiny adders like IG in IG-2000 and the Droid Control Ship, as well as the tech stuff that the droid starfighters can do, you've got a decent chance of keeping the system occupied long enough to stay on the flipside and do some damage. If nothing else, you can throw some battle droids on board the capitals as never-ending forfeit fodder.
Card choices:
Maul's Infiltrator - A great ship to probe with... or you can just toss OOM-9 aboard as the pilot for a bit of extra power. Destiny 6 doesn't hurt, either.
TT-6 - pulls a couple of the Battle Droids, and helps reduce the cost a bit on Droid Racks to pull stuff back.
Cease Fire! - keeps your battle droids at a site from having their forfeit reduced from weapons fire. A cool alternative to Oh, Switch Off.
Take Them Away - anti-UC spy card.
Enjoy!
