Card Text

If opponent just deployed a card, use 3 Force to return it to opponent's hand. Any Force used to deploy that card remains used. On opponent's next turn, that card must be deployed (if possible) to same location (for free).

• Jeff Hansen, "It Can Wait/I'd Just As Soon Kiss A Wookie", Neglected Card Series, Corellian Engineering Corporation (2000). Reviewing the counterparts together, Hansen says returning a just-deployed card delays the opponent a turn and suits manipulation decks with Grimtaash, Monnok or Recoil In Fear. "These are nice cards that can fill that one empty slot in your deck!"

Rulings

• The target does deploy briefly, triggering any automatic actions (such as Objective flips) first.
• The target card is placed in owner's hand, even if it was being deployed from Reserve Deck or somewhere else.
• If two cards were being deployed simultaneously, such as via Squadron Assignments, both cards are equally affected (both placed in hand and each may deploy free next turn - even separately).
• If the target card is unique, that unique card/persona cannot deploy again this turn.
• Cannot be played as a response to persona replacement (e.g. Commander Luke Skywalker replacing Luke Skywalker).
• Cannot be played as a response to other replacement (e.g. X-wing Assault Squadron replacing 3 X-wings).
