This deck was designed with three goals in mind:
1) Catch your opponent off-guard. Who in their right mind doesn't start an Objective? Raithal, of all starting locations? You Cannot Hide Forever and Inconsequential Losses as starting Effects?? All these factors serve to confuse the Light Side player, and to make him wonder just what the *bleep* you have in your deck. When you ditch Hide to search for Strategic Reserves and start canceling his FD, he'll start to get a clue, but it may be too late.
2) Be able to go anywhere. This deck only has 3 sites, so it's up to you to take the fight to them. With the virtual Lack of Faith, even Naboo ground decks shouldn't pose a problem. If you do draw your sites, camp out and let them come to you. Jundland needs ability >6 for destiny, and Lars' Farm gives you an extra +1 on weapon destiny, not to mention both sites have Drain bonuses. Just make sure you've got a few troopers, a Trooper Assault, and a Rifle or two before you go visit. And a Precise Attack wouldn't hurt against Jedi (or PO'd Chewie).
3) Destiny through the roof. There are 7 cards in this deck with destiny lower than 4 (unless your opponent gets over to Raithal, which makes your troopers only 3 destiny). Most shots from a Blaster Rifle will hit LS mains if you've got Imp Acadamy Training out. Precise Attacks should take out the most stubborn ones; I've hit a PO'd Chewie when he had Armor 12 from my 8 Imperials there. You're looking at 9-13 attrition from a single virtual Stormtooper with a Blaster Rifle and a Blast Points.
These goals alone will not win you games. Against space decks, you just have to be patient enough for Zuckuss to show up with one of the other two ships, then drop 'em both to have some sort of chance vs. a dedicated LS space deck. The drains over at Tatooine with seemingly wuss Stormtroopers defending will be enough for some LS players to commit a couple mains to clean them up. Just drop the Assault, fire a gun or two, and forfeit guns to soak up battle damage (Assault also makes troopers immune to attrition). Remember, a first-turn Tactical Support is USED, and can grab you Stormtrooper Garrison.
Some individual card comments (why these cards are in the deck): Abyssin for some late-game retrieval, Wounded Wookiee against destiny adders (or Clash), Shut Him Up to kill Bacta Tank, Freeze! for an improved Imp Barrier (plus it's a used 6), Imperial Artillery as a used 7 that is extra Force loss, Twi'lek to go find Reactor Terminal or Academy Training, 9 Rifles because they're destiny 5 and when stacked on a (V) Stormtrooper, adds a destiny if not otherwise able.
Refined? Hell no. Competitive? Only slightly. But it all pays off when the troopers wipe out a couple Jedi and still have a trooper standing. Any suggestions ya'll have to clean this up and make it more efficient are welcome. Cheap decks can be fun!
