Adds 2 to power of anything he pilots. The not-so-good doctor may 'operate' on any other character present that was just 'hit' or just Disarmed; 'patient' is lost.

Dr. Evazan(DE) is an absolute must in any Dark Side(DS) weapons deck. First, the combination of pilot and warrior, along with Evazan's game text, make DE one of the three best aliens for the DS, along with Djas Puhr and Dannik Jerriko. DE's ability to cause a hit or Disarmed character to be immediately lost can change the results of a battle he is in considerably, often depriving the LS player of a battle destiny draw. DE is ideal for a DS Tatooine ground deck, with a heavy emphasis on powerful weapons, such as Blaster Rifles and Dark Jedi Lightsabers. With careful deck design, such as the inclusion of some high destiny effects and interrupts to boost weapon destiny draws, DE can become a keystone for a deck. Some helpful effects and interrupts for the doctor and friends which also have high destiny numbers are Disarmed (5), It's Worse (6), Precise Attack (4), Trooper Charge (6), Lone Warrior (4), Besieged (5), Oo-ta Go-ta Solo (5), and Tentacle (5).
Some of the key locations for a DE deck are Death Star:Detention
Block Corridor and Tatooine:Lars Moisture Farm, which allow the DS player to add one to each weapon destiny draw. DE and his associate, Ponda Baba, are both power plus one at both Tatooine:Cantina and Tatooine:Mos Eisley. Add a few high forfeit, low deploy cost warriors to protect the doctor from attrition, and turn him loose on the sands of Tatooine.
Cards to watch out for: All six of the seekers.
Combos:
DE + Disarmed + Any character weapon. Deploy DE and a weapon at the site of any Light character packing a weapon. Play Disarmed on the character during the LS player's control phase, and even Obi-Wan Kenobi and Obi-Wan's Lightsaber are immediately lost. A nice feature of this combo is that it is immune to Alter or any other counter and does not require a destiny draw to execute.
DE + Dannik Jerriko + Weapon. During a battle, hit a character with a weapon, have DE operate on the character, and then have Dannik eat his soup. This instantly swings the power total in the battle by the ability plus power of the LS character. Mark Tuttle, Decipher Netrep, gets credit for this one.
Common/Uncommon Combo:
DE + Ponda Baba + 2 Imperial Blasters + Precise Attack. Evazan just feels more comfortable with his cohort who 'doesn't like you either.' This gruesome twosome has a power of six, or eight at either DS Cantina or Mos Eisley. Give them both Imperial Blasters and play a Precise Attack, and one LS character of your choice probably will not walk away from the confrontation.
Make your opponent cringe Combo:
DE + Jawa + Utinni! + Kessel Run. Have one of your Jawas catch a ship to Kessel. Use Utinni! to steal Kessel Run into your hand, and then have DE make the run using his Smuggler attribute. With the DS starships, it probably will not be as fast as Han Solo or BoShek, but it will be a lot of fun to watch.
