These cards were posted as Defensive Shields outside the deck.

Ten shields listed among the starting cards after An Unusual Amount Of Fear (posted 'A Tregedy Has Occurred', 'Do Or Do Not').

Notes

  • Starting (9) header with 20 lines: 10 are Defensive Shields (outside the 60), and Han (V) is listed both there and under Characters, counted once. Wise Advice read as the Special Edition Effect inside the 60, which makes the total 60.
  • Original-era (V) slips: Seeking An Audience (VS6), Sai'torr Kal Fas (VS1), Princess Leia (VS6), Han (VS3), Chewbacca (VS3), Han's Heavy Blaster Pistol (VS1), Luke's Back (VS2), Return Of A Jedi (VS2), Escape Pod (VS2), Civil Disorder x2 (VS6), Bionic Hand (VS6).
  • Posted 'Chewie, Protector' dested Chewbacca, Protector; 'Chewie's Bowcaster' Chewbacca's Bowcaster; 'Lando, Scoundral' Lando Calrissian, Scoundrel; 'Space Port Docking Bay' Spaceport Docking Bay; 'Heading For The Medical Freight' Heading For The Medical Frigate.

Strategy

Special thanks to: challenger -- I couldn't have done it without him, Shane... for the Launching The Assault/Home One/Mantellian Servrip/Civil Disorder (V) combo.

Average destiny: 2.7

Strategy: Exhaust opponent's character supply, use profit-damage, Force draining as means of force loss.

First turn: Deploy a docking bay. If possible, deploy Lando, Chewie or Threepio. Draw.

Deploy a docking bay every one of your turns. Use The Signal to pull and deploy Civil Disorder (V), followed by Goo Nee Tay.

Deploy characters to Tatooine, use their game text or Sai'torr Kal Fas to pull and deploy their matching weapons.

Free Han, flip objective as soon as possible using EPP guys, crazy Lando.

Spread out characters at battle grounds, protect Han with Ben Kenobi, and begin to profit-damage and force drain.

The object of each battle should be to "hit" as many of opponent's characters as possible, and in every battle you start, you get to retreive a character. This process, or kind of "retreival" battle, makes your characters expendable.

After several of these "retreival" battles, opponent's character supply should wear thin, allowing you to continue to profit-damage, Force drain. Opponent's lack of characters will put him into evasive action, giving you the chance to totally wipe out his line of characters!

A Gift deploys on Threepio for anti-alien environment. There's a Defensive Shield that pulls Immediate Effects like this.

Use Launching The Assault to pull Home One. Use Mantellian Servrip to keep Home One alive by forfeiting characters -- characters which will be retreived by Civil Disorder (V) -- directly from hand.
