Cancelled Virtual Sets are Players Committee Virtual products that were planned or listed but never released in the form described. Decipher expansions announced after Death Star II and never published are covered at Cancelled Expansions.
Virtual Set 19: Galaxy At War
Virtual Set 19: Galaxy At War was a planned Original-era Virtual Set that was never released. A Polish fan overview of the Virtual Sets marks it niewydany (unreleased), the only entry so marked.[1]
The modern Virtual Set 19, a Rebels-themed Current Virtual set announced in August 2022, is a different product.[2]
Virtual Set 18: Fifth Anthology
Original-era Virtual Set 18: Fifth Anthology was not cancelled: its previewed cards were released in Virtual Set 6: Reflections IV. It was previewed on 8 June 2009 for a July 2009 premiere, with six cards marked Virtual Set 18.[3] The Players Committee's virtual-slips page lists Legacy Virtual Sets VS1–VS17 only.[4][5]
The previewed titles appear in Virtual Set 6: Reflections IV, later Virtual Block 6 (official text 4 September 2009). Luke Skywalker, Strong In The Force (#67) and Maneuvering Flaps & Nick Of Time (#81) carry the game text from the June preview.[6][7] The Polish overview lists Fifth Anthology without the niewydany mark.[1] Virtual Block 1's introduction counts “previous 18 virtual sets”.[8]
The modern Virtual Set 18 (released 21 April 2022) is a different Current Virtual product.
Virtual Block 9.2
Virtual Block 9.2 was not released in its planned form. Virtual Block 9.1 (Republic at War) shipped on 10 January 2014, and the virtual-slips page still lists both 9.1 and 9.2.[4] On 25 July 2014, announcing the 2014 Virtual Card Pool Reset, the Players Committee wrote: “9.2 will not be released in its current form. We are planning on releasing a mini, 12 card set for Worlds…”[9]
