Well, with 4 Artoo-Detoo In Red 5, 2 Luke
Skywalker [V], 3 All Wings Report In &
Darklighter Spin and 4 Control & Tunnel Vision,
you SHOULD be able to get Artoo-Detoo In Red 5
with Luke Skywalker [V] for 2 force at
Rendezvous Point and then move it to Aquaris first turn!
That means you activate a minimum of 8 force
(thanks to Aquaris and We Didn't Hit It!)
on your second turn and giving only 1 force
to your opponent! This is huge...
Luke Skywalker [V] is a big part of this deck.
On your second turn, you can play a Control &
Tunnel Vision (if you have one in hand) and
retrieve it back to your Used Pile if your
opponent didn't play Come Here You Big Coward!
If he did play it, just get a All Wings Report
In & Darklighter Spin and set up the Pulsar
Skate with Mirax aboard at Kirdo III. That
way, you'll get either the Sandwhirl or Desert
in your turn, and the other in the opponent's
turn (with Kirdo III's text)... and you'll
be able to track the remaining Artoo-Detoo
In Red 5 (with Mirax) for those nice On The
Edge. If the opponent grabbed something early
in the game, imagine what you can do: activate
up to the 7, play On The Edge, retrieve 6 cards,
and then retrieve the On The Edge (you have to
do that in your control phase of course) with
Luke's text!
As for potential drains, 3 at Kessel, 3 at
Naboo (with Bravo 4 there) and 2 at Kiffex
should be enough to win a drain race!
And to counter Battle Order (and to put
Menace Fades in action) you just need to
go for the Desert and the Sandwhirl with
the Sandspeeders and some ability 4 pilot.
Beware for AT-ATs, and for Control & Set
For Stun (that cancels mobile effects)...
this is why there are 3 Inconsequential Barriers
in there (it cancels Set For Stun). Oh! And
it's always a good card to have against Imperial
Barrier and it's easy to recycle.
Boshek is really cool. Get any ship in your
hand, show it to get the 'matching pilot' with
Get To Your Ships, get Boshek, and get the
Astromech Translator with Boshek. That means
you got yourself a nice ship that has immunity
< 6 (< 8 if I'll Take The Leader in on table).
As for Gold 1 [V], it's so much fun to use
with It Could Be Worse (by the way, it's in
there mainly to counter Security Precautions).
Anyway, I think this deck has it all to be
considered a good choice for the contest: it's
fun to play, it's strong, and it uses the cool
virtual cards!
A big thanks to the PC for coming up with these!
PS: I didn't explain exactly how to "play" the
deck, because I think everyone's familiar with
how to flip Hidden Base...and if you wanna know
what would be the 61th and 62th cards, well
it would be Strikeforce and Legendary Starfighter.
