Ben Lacey

Ben Lacey of Franklin, Tennessee, is a Star Trek CCG player. He qualified for the 1999 Star Trek CCG World Championship at DecipherCon 1999 by winning the Atlanta Open, and finished third.[1][2] Decipher's DecipherCon caption called him one half of the Lacey gang.[3]

Lacey entered the 1999 Star Trek CCG World Championship as one of 32 finalists, with a rating of 1794.[1] He finished the eight-game preliminary round third at 11 (149). He lost his first game to James Monsebroten.[4] In the four-game Round of 12 he scored 6 (110) and again placed third; the top two met in the final.[5][2]
Lacey was disqualified from the Star Trek CCG event at the 2000 World Championships in Orlando, Florida, the weekend of the 2000 Decipher World Championship. His deck held four copies of a card that his decklist gave as three. Steven Lewis reported it and called him a good friend from Nashville.[6]
