Aron Eisenberg

Aron Eisenberg was a special guest at DecipherCon 1999, billed as Nog from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.[1][2] Decipher photographed him signing autographs, with Tournaments Coordinator Bruce Umene at the same table.[3] Star Trek CCG held its third World Championship at the convention, won by Mike Harrington, and Young Jedi held its World Championship, won by Greg Heisler.[4]
DecipherCon 1999
On Friday, 12 November 1999, Eisenberg made his first appearance at the convention with Chase Masterson, Jeremy Bulloch and Shannon Baksa, spending several hours with fans.[2] Convention guests crowded around Masterson and Eisenberg,[5] and Tournament Director Barbie Buchanan, with her son Nathanael and daughter Amanda, led the parade of fans arriving to meet the four guests.[6] Bruce Umene did the macarena while Eisenberg signed.[3]
On Saturday, 13 November, the guests were back for another afternoon with their fans.[4] Bill Martinson of Decipher Product Development checked in with Eisenberg,[7] and the two promoted a message of peace.[8] Eisenberg also hammed it up with DecipherCon staff.[9]
Over his signing sessions with Decipher fans, Eisenberg signed a thousand collectibles.[10]
Gen Con 2000
At Gen Con 2000 in Milwaukee, Eisenberg appeared courtesy of Corsair Publishing. In exchange for a contribution to the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California, he signed 8×10 photographs and posed for photographs with fans. Star Trek Communicator pictured him with its columnist Jim Brumbaugh.[11]
