Introduction[edit]
A Hunt Down dueling deck that uses old skool activation combined with high destiny to put a hurting on those pesky Jedi.
Decklist[edit]
Strategy[edit]
Well, this is just a very standard Hunt Down dueling deck. I've included the old school means of activating with Mob Points, Docking Bays and Carida. Most people nowadays play the DDTA def. shield and I can pull Carida before they can put it on the table as an action so at least I can get Carida activation from that. I chose old skool MobiPoints because if DDTA does hit the table I'd rather not have YCHF canceled (I use the def. shield). I have 5 Vaders in there so it's usually not hard to get one quickly. If I had another Lord I'd probably drop one of the EPP Vaders for him. I use 2 Tatooine Mauls b/c I only have 1 Maul Strikes and that version can duel on his own. I also don't use Maul's Double Saber cuz I don't have it. All the other characters should be self explanatory. As far as dueling goes, the destiny is high enough to generally give me good draws. I can pull all locations and the characters I can just hold in my hand or deploy. I use Ebb of Battle which lets you activate 1 Force any time and Vader's Anger to set up a destiny 5 which when coupled with a tracked 6 or 7 or other 5 is usually enough to take out Luke or Ben. I know I could accomplish this with Dark Rage/Deep Hatred but I only have one DR. I'd like to fit Snoova, his axe and two Imperial Arterillaries + a Phantom Menace (if I ever get one) in here so if anybody has any suggestions on 5 cards to drop, please tell me. I had Blizzard 4 in here originally but I never had a problem getting Vader so I dropped it. I use the standard def shields so I didn't list them. Matchups are basically the same each time. You only have two battlegrounds so you can stick to them or you can go to the opponent. This deck can battle or duel depending on what you have in hand or tracked around. I know HD has a weakness to LS combat, but if you can get Vader down and initiate a duel with some tracked destinies quickly you should be able to win, especialy against Luke b/c most LS combat decks I've seen use EPP Luke. Well, that's about it, tell me what you think!
