Introduction
Fun deck I built using the Brangus Glee engine. Probably not world’s calibre, but fun to pull out and mess with people’s heads with.

TO EVERYONE CALLING OUT SHEILD WARNING!
Even if I do see the shield, the way I figure it, I am running 4 Maul with Lightsabers, because the shield only affects the docking bay AFTER I have done the swap.
Thanks, please continue...
Hey all, I’ve been experimenting with Virtual Fear Will Keep Them In Line for the last few months, and this is the latest varient. Last deck I uploaded was a total dedicated effort to Fear Will Keep Them in Line with no SYCFA. It was quite successful, and has slowly blended into this deck.
I missed the bandwagon for Brangus Glee a year ago, and always wanted to try it. So, I figured what the heck, I’ll go ahead and build one, no one in my area seems to pack the shield that hurts it. So, I even went as far as to make it a manipulator.
So, this deck is currently undefeated in casual play, and has made an impact in the meta of my area. I can’t tell you how many times I answered the question: ”Whats the defensive shield that stops him?”
Casually, I set Brangus up quick. However, competively, I would probably save Brangus for a mid-game surprise. Even if my opponent pulls the shield, lets admit, it is still powerful to get any just lost card back. Heck, even if I just get back Maul with Stick twice in a game, thats still pretty potent, don’t ya think?
For the newbies that don’t know how Brangus works, you can exchange docking bays for the top card of your lost. So, you play an abusive lost interrupt (like Podracer Collision versus podracing, or Uncertain is the Future, or Monnok, or Dark Strike) or even a just forfeited character (suicide Maul strikes on an opponent’s stronghold). Then simply exchange the docking bay. Then, after you’ve exchanged two docking bays, play ’Put All Sections On Alert’ to retrieve the 2 docking bays. Then immediately exchange a docking bay for a Put All Sections on alert. Usually, Put All Sections On Alert will get grabbed by the savy opponent. Thats fine, you can still exchange DB’s at least 8 times in the game.
Begin Game:
Pull Carida with Mob Points, activate, pull War Room. Check your deck. Did you activate a Brangus? Did you activate a destroyer? If so, draw, if not sit tight and wait for next turn.
I usually do not start drawing unless I am sure that I got something helpful in the force pile or my opponent is playing a fast deck! When your opponent plays a fast deck, you’ve just got to play their game, and set your deck up as you disrupt theirs.
Lets say 3rd turn you still have not activated Brangus or a Destroyer. Well, hopefully you drew an Uncertain is the Future, draw up to 13, and play the Uncertain is the Future, hopefully you will get your destroyer and/or Brangus.
Mid Game:
Usually turns 6 through 10, I’m setting up a destroyer with Virtual Vader and Brangus Glee is cruising. Also, I start thinking about the manipulator. A Dangerous Time combined with Prophetess and Sim Aloo and a Close Call can cause damage to the opponent directly, and you can fetch back the Close Call with Brangus.
Fear Will Keep Them In Line (v) is the real teeth to this deck. Virtual Vader is such a tank in space. He combined with Grand Moff Tarkin is sick. LS cannot win that system without some junk like Darklighter Spin or Power Pivot, or Super Falcon. Use Set For Stun or Sense the troublesome interrupt.
End Game:
You can drop Presence of the Force on Alderaan in a pinch to get another battleground for FWKTIL (v).
You should be doing 4 damage a turn with FWKTIL, irritating them with Close Call, or stopping their best drain with Control, and suicide Maul should make them keep their forces consolidated. Make sure you strike at least once with a Suicide Maul and ANNOUNCE ’I’m taking Maul back to hand using Brangus Glee’s text’. Your opponent will then know you have a suicide Maul, and as a result will keep their ground somewhat consolidated.
Card Selection:
Teemto’s Podracer: My good luck card. I like it a lot, and it is effective. Especially when you start abusing Podracer Collision...
Alter Coruscant: Alter the effect that subtracts from destinies, or cancels a drain, or whatever. Get it back with Brangus if you need it again. Laugh at senate when you Alter every single one of their effects with the same Alter.
Sniper & Dark Strike: Suicide Maul, force a character to be instantly lost, or guarantee a tough swing, or sniper someone. Get it back with Brangus if Maul survives (maybe he will with The Phantom Menace?)
Collateral Damage: Fun!
I Have You Now: A admittably feeble attempt to deal some damage to WYS.
Blizard 4 / Stormtrooper Garrison: Destiny 4 cards. Remember the Stormtrooper Garrison adds a Battle destiny when in battle with Palpatine, Tarkin, and Thrawn.
Zuckuss in Mist Hunter: Combine him with Virtual Vader. Laugh.
Sim Aloo / Prophetess: Screw with opponent’s tracking, destinies. Set up Close Call.
P-59: Hired Muscle, along with Dr. E and Ponda Boba and Maul with Stick, my anti-ground package.
Deck Matchups:
Hidden Base Flip / XWing Swarm:
Abuse lost monnok. Beat them down at a system if the opportunity presents itself. Sense / Alter the annoying red
Hidden Base Flip / Ten Numb superstar:
Sense Alter the annoying Red when you can. Set for stun the super star. Repeat Set for Stun with Brangus (notice you can do Set For Stun twice!)
Jedi Council Mains: They can’t handle you in space because the design of their deck. Choose your ground battles wisely.
I have not matched up against much else, but here are theoretical matchups:
WYS: Zuckuss In Mist Hunter and Virtual Vader / Tarkin. With Thrawn and Stormtrooper Garrison you get 3 battle destinies as well. You will get choked, so you will need to utilize Mob points and your dark jedi master’s just for activation. Use Sim and Prophetess just to disrupt their destiny tracking.
LS Senate: Alter their effects with the same Alter. Close Call them as much as possible. Use Sim and Prophetess with well timed strikes.
QMC: Take Bespin. Occupy one site, even if it has to be the DS Docking bay. Move Death star to Parsec 4 to maximize Fear Will Keep Them in Line with Alderaan and Presence of the Force.
Gungan Tech: Presence of the Force, suicide Maul. Repeat with Brangus as necessary.
Against He Can Go About Their Business: NUTS! Oh well, just use your two docking bay swaps wisely, most likely on Maul.
They grab Put All Sections on Alert: NUTS! Oh well, you can use your 8 docking bay swaps wisely.
The grab the interrupt you were abusing: WTF? Ok, abuse another interrupt.
Thanks for reading this far! You’re a trooper!
