Strategy

*obv this card doesnt belong in here, it was only there cuz i played endor mains on friday and i needed it for that. replace it with ounee ta or he can go about his business or your ship?

this is teh light deck i used to win us nationals at origins 2005. one thing i learned well is that there are about 49230 different ways to play this objective and not a single one of them is teh best, tho some are better than others. i'd say this version is pretty good.

to win with this deck u simply want to set up on corellia 4 teh flip, then wreck in space with drainz. u really cant be fcked with in space between ur huge beefy space package and teh b0rk3n admiralz order and darklighter spin. u really cant be fcked with on corellia either cuz of teh soak and teh +3 to deploy.

so like u set up battle plan and entrenchment first turn in like 90% of games. which is pretty good. then from there u gauge where u can do teh most damage (usually kessel) and go do it. retrieval with luke and teh objective is dece. also teh urororuror text of teh 7 side lets u get whatever u need fast enough.

this list is tailored to beat teh top dark decks. teh fact that wys v is so damn solid means that it will automatically roll over any jizzy rogue decks (like tractor beams or something) so u just need to make sure u can beat teh more solid, top dark decks like scum and exhaust.

to that end u have mad anti-scum cards like free ride x2 and you've got a lot of nutz coming here. in testing i noticed teh scum deck was retrieving anywhere from 12 to 20+ force a GAME with scum and villainy so i was like "if theres one card i can put in to stop all that, why not?" and free ride is so tech cuz even with ur huge space package u cannot reliably and quickly get around maul cloaking at tatooine (u have xwing cannon and sorry combo but that takes time to set up)

ok so first turn u get a site on ur opponents turn then another on ur turn. if u drew a site u can get kessel or an admirals order too, sure. dont worry too much bout those tho, u will see them soon enough once u start cycling exhaust. before activating on ur turn pick up general solo and maybe crix if u feel like it. then u activate and drop teh sites and put solo at one and laudica (from deck with bargaining table) at teh other 4 teh flip. then u use teh objective to get ahmad rashad to teh swamp (he deploys for zero). then u use laudica to get squadron assignments out. then u use solo to get i wonder who they found and deploy it and draw top two cards of ur reserve deck. then if u have a bunch of force u might even be able to get a ship/pilot combo to teh system (u can use uruurourr text to get an extra force if u need). then u use a force to move ur one corellian to join teh other two at teh swamp, where teh opponent must pay +3 to initiate battle. and u r officially un-fck-with-able. if teh opponent wants to fight u on ground he better have enough force to pay +3 for his guys, then +3 for teh battle, then more than one weapon cuz u can cancel a targeting with wonder who, then hope u dont have barrier. if teh opponent wants to fight u in space, they have to still deal with +3 non corellians, and barrier, and be prepared to get reacted on with teh spiral and/or tantive iv. and u will always have force for barrier/react cuz of teh 7 side text which u can again use during ur opponent's activate phase.

ok so now u have a drain of 1 and 2 battle-plan proof and entrenchment in full effect. from here u need to either/or: set up at kessel for more drainage; set up at teh jungle for more drainage; all of teh above. eventually u should be draining for like 8 and retrieving with luke and damaging teh opponent with leebo and winning teh game.

yoda v is in there for anti-hunt down. all u need to do is deploy him on corellia and huntdown is now officially on teh 0 side for like ever. i often times do this with quigon or obiwan but yoda is CHEAP and does teh same damn thing. then once u have them back on teh 0 side ur both losing to visage and u can damage them with leebo 1 a turn also so thats like 4 a round ur both losing. but ur draining for more between kessel and no questions asked, and ur retrieving with luke in space and mebbe a weapon firing or won battle also.

TEH SPACE is so rigoldenrod in this deck. it works like this: u have wedge on his ship, u play a few maneuvers to make him maneuver 8, play all wings combo to make ur battle destiny 8, then u get +3 to total with nqa, so ur total 11 battle destiny. not to mention teh destiny to power u get with nqa also, wedge alone can be like power 20+!!???!? b0rk3n 1337 w00t wtfomglolol!!!!11

and then of course once u crush teh opponent in a battle he was expecting to win, u retrieve a force with teh objective, then deploy legendary and repeat after me: "GG"

against hunt down: auto-win in like 10 turns or less. see above, and also remember u can pull corran horn from deck to infiltrate teh executor (just dont cancel visage!)

against scum: u need teh tech cards in here cuz this matchup is about even, if not slightly in favor of teh dark side. watch out for maul if he gets out early, he can like blank ur ability at corellia, and if u only have one other battleground at teh time, whoops u flip back. sux0r. get luke up there asap. on teh ground spread to both sites asap. save ur barriers for dengar, ig with gun, or special ed fett (tho remember wonder who can help u against teh first two). stacking 4 corellians at teh same site is not necessarily a bad idea early, even if it means u have to eat some force loss from j'quille. eventually on ground u want to get ur epps and distribute teh corellians evenly between teh two sites. dont go on tatooine at all, ever. entrenchment should keep those drains low enough and free ride will do its thing in canceling occupation.

eventually teh setup will be u draining 2 and 2 on ground, and 1 and 2 (capped by resistance) in space and retrieving with luke. meantime ur opponent will be draining maybe 1 1 1 on ground and .... not retrieving thanks to youve got a lot of nutz coming here. u should be able to get legendary out somewhere too once teh space battles get going.

against anything else: u just crush and auto-win cuz u r 100% solid gold with setting up battle plan/entrenchment first turn and then ultimatum and a phat drain of 5+ teh turn after that.
