Alter & Friendly Fire (V) is a Light Interrupt (Used or Lost Interrupt) from Virtual Set 14.

Card Text

This Interrupt is immune to opponent's Objective and does not cause you to lose Force to There Is No Try. USED: Cancel Sense. LOST: Target an Effect, Political Effect, or Utinni Effect, and one of your characters on table. Draw destiny. If destiny < character's ability, target Effect is canceled. OR If a battle was just initiated at a site where opponent has four or more characters, draw destiny. If destiny < number of opponent's characters at that site, opponent chooses one to be lost.

Rulings

• Cannot cancel an Immediate Effect, Mobile Effect, or Starting Effect.
• Can be played as a top-level action.
• Can be played as a response to the attempted deployment of an Effect, Political Effect, or Utinni Effect. If successful, the target has no result.
• 'Immune to opponent's Objective' only works while initiating/playing it.
• It is protected from (for example) both sides of Hunt Down And Destroy The Jedi.
• It is not protected from (for example) In Complete Control or I Will Make It Legal.
• 'Immune to opponent's Objective' does not permit Alter to target Scum And Villainy against the 7-side of Carbon Chamber Testing.
