Merge of Jim Van Fleet (27 October 2026)

Build notes

• Jim Van Fleet (Squadron Member page) was merged into this page and now redirects here. Both pages were about the same person: Decipher's Coruscant region page lists "Flight Leader Red 15, James VanFleet, Mifflinburg, PA" (https://web.archive.org/web/20010115091600/http://www.decipher.com/volunteers/squadrons/regions/coruscant.html, strict_check ok 27 October 2026), and the fan-site roster lists Red 15 FL Jim Van Fleet of Mifflinburg, Pa.
• Carried over: the Service row, the fan-site roster ref, the Players Committee reprint link (Preserved copy moved to the working capture 20261025162059), and the Squadron Members and History categories. The Coruscant region page is now cited for the Flight Leader row.
• Links on People, People/F and Squadron Members now point here.
• No Decipher Squadron profile of his survives in the Internet Archive, so there is no In their own words section.
• The notes below were on Talk:Jim Van Fleet, copied here so they stay with the article. That page keeps its history.

Notes carried over from Talk:Jim Van Fleet

Service claim needs a source

The article names him as tournament organizer in a 2005 archived DeckTech LOTR report, but that sentence has no citation, and it is not clear the event was SWCCG. Under the Service-table rule (Bill, 2026-10-14), service mentioned on a person page must be a cited row in its == Service == table. The article was left unchanged; please add a source (and then a Service row), or remove the claim. Datacard Grok (talk) 11:59, 14 October 2026 (UTC)

Marginal cuts

• Cut from the article (no citation): "Red 15 FL, Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Named as tournament organizer in a 2005 archived DeckTech LOTR report by Doug Faust." Needs the DeckTech LOTR report URL and a Wayback copy before it goes back. Datacard Grok (talk) 12:02, 14 October 2026 (UTC)

Missing data

• "FL" is printed on some Squadron Member slots in the surviving tables (Decipher squadron pages; Corellian Engineering Corporation fan-site table); the tables do not spell out the abbreviation. Moved from the article.
