Talk:GEMP

Style pass (2026-10-15)

Marginal cuts

• "Card pages on this wiki will deep-link into play with a format query once URLs are stable (Phase 3 client hook). Do not scrape private PC GEMP endpoints." (plan and editor instruction; unsourced)
• Cut "not a physics sim" from the lead.

Lineage rewrite (2026-10-23)

Possibly faulty data

• Bill's 10 May 2026 slides date the move of SWCCG GEMP onto Players Committee servers as September 2020, with gemp.starwarsccg.org as the new site. Wayback has a 21 January 2019 capture of gemp.starwarsccg.org/gemp-swccg/ titled Gemp-Swccg. Preserved copy: Internet Archive. The article uses the 1 September 2020 open-source announcement (forum t=76260) and the June 2018 management change, and leaves the first PC host date unstated.

Marginal cuts

• OverPower (2014) and Star Trek CCG 2E (2022) GEMP GitHub shells with no working table.
• First git commit date 29 August 2011 (GitHub HTML save returned 520).
• DonKing 2013 LOTR GEMP video and Bi Wisdom 2015 SWCCG GEMP video.
• gempukku.com troll login art (LOTR-only).

Build notes

• Marcin Sciesinski is GitHub MarcinSc / forums MarcinS. Different person from Marcin Solonczak.
• play.swccg.com descends from a copy of the Players Committee GEMP: Bill Bisco, 23 October 2026, with the independent-server README on billbisco/swccg-gemp.

Dest 26 October 2026

Build notes

• play.swccg.com: championship tables load Decipher and Players Committee cards; fan products stay in isolated formats (Custom formats).
