Introduction

An Agents of Black Sun Deck that works around getting Scum and Villiany up and running. This deck most likely needs help since it's my first truly original open deck since returning and I'm quite rusty.

Defensive Shields

These cards were posted as Defensive Shields outside the deck.

Ten '*'-marked shields listed in the Starting section (posted 'Oppresive Enforcement', 'Resistence', 'Come Here Your Big Coward').

Notes

  • Prince Xizor is listed in Starting and again under Characters; 2 copies dested as posted (unique).
  • Blaster Rack (v) dested Blaster Rack (V) (Virtual Set 1), as in earlier GPN decks; that wiki page is tagged Light side.
  • Original-era (V) slips: Blaster Rack (VS1), Boba Fett (VS6), Dengar/Bossk/IG-88 (VS5), Hound's Tooth/Mist Hunter/Punishing One (VS5), Desilijic Tattoo (VS5), Jabba's Influence (VS6), Location x3 (VS5), Boba Fett's Blaster Rifle (VS6), IG-88's Neural Inhibitor (VS5); shields I Find Your Lack Of Faith Disturbing (VS2), Reactor Terminal (VS3), Death Star Sentry (VS2).
  • Posted 'Coruscant: Docking Bay (Cor)' = the Coruscant-set Docking Bay; 'Force Lightening' Force Lightning; 'Ghhk' Ghhhk & Those Rebels Won't Escape Us.

Strategy

    • Well hopefully this isn't a report, since it lost my first deck it seems.**

Response to Review:

Heh, it's funny sithborg I playtested this thing over the weekend (finally) and made those very changes. It's a pure BH deck now. I might repost it if it does well in the coming weeks.

So what I'm hoping to do is use Jabba's Influence (v) to be able to run AOBS with both Palpy and Scum and Villiany.

Early game:

Find triple L and use it to get out the Audience Chamber, Fett and his Blaster Rifle. You can also deploy the Coruscant DB or the Naboo DB. I wouldn't deploy Coruscant unless you have some protection for Xizor. With Fett you can get almost any effect except for Droid Racks, Incon Losses, and triple L.

Mid game:

Use triple L to setup Naboo and get Palpy to the Generator Core with some kind of back-up (preferably with a weapon so your Force Lightening gives them pause.) Try to get some Security Droids with Blasters, Incon Losses, and Droid racks out. This should give you a steady supply of forfeit fodder.

Late game:

Fight or drain, your choice. The deck does both fairly well and doesn't really rely on Force Drain bonuses so Test 1, Menace Fade, etc. aren't a big worry for you.

Okay so here's where I need some help:

1. Triple L and IAO/Secret Plans seems like overkill, but then again it also speeds up the deck. Should I just star triple L and put a Secret Plans shield in instead?

2. I'm really thinking I should throw in Search and Destroy and\or Imperial Decree (v) in there to hate on some of the more popular LS decks.

3. What am I missing? I like this deck, but I know it could be better.
